What were some of your favorite hangout places as a teenager?

Friends and I loved hanging out at bowling alleys. We would wait till one of us could get the old car from our parents and go bowling. Usually it was the van, sometimes it was two old sedans. Every now and then it was one sedan, and we all squeezed in. Often the car borrowing process didn’t involve asking the parents.
It was 3 vs 3 or 4 vs 4 at the bowling. $20 went a long way back then. I remember we had to keep scores on pen and paper. Good competition and shite talking. After the bowling we would play Street Fighter 2 or Mortal Kombat = more shite talking. To maximize play time and money, the winner of round 1 would intentionally lose round 2 so that we could play all 3 rounds.
After we would all get in the car, drive to Burger King(if we had still money), and talk about the hot girls at schools that we have no chances with. Good times.

Small city of Clanton. Every Friday and Saturday night tons of teenagers would ride the strip through main street. Bumper to bumper. Crowds all in the parking lots. Parked along the streets. Low riders. Jacked up 4x4s. Big bass systems. Not a cell phone anywhere. Kids from cities all around would come to ride through and hangout. It was awesome. Kids today don’t have a clue about any of it. Really sad

Main epic Home Base location -- big fenced double-baseball field that abutted a technical school (as well as nearby neighborhood houses). It served duty as our sports activities center AND Party Central.
It had small convenient hideaway hills and exits for quick getaways (just in case)...
NO ONE bothered us or our known activities (because no one was stupid enough to blow things up, set bonfires, etc that would alarm nearby neighbors.)
Pre-license Car Activities: 21 year old broad would literally pick us up at our house (not ugly or fat -- all made no sense, don't ask). She then chauffeur the four of us 16 year-old dudes around in her 20' long Pontiac Bonneville to whatever destination we requested. (while also requesting specific music be bought for said night cruising.)
Yes -- this controlled Boss arrangement was a huge news deal with all the guys at the various HS Lunch Tables. We granted ONE guy (a "witness") a courtesy guest privilege one night.
As to food hangouts -- White Castle, BK, Mickey D's, Friendly's.
Times were golden. Aaah, to be 16 and 17 yo and King.

Lafayette 90s. Dead end at Giles. Taco Bell and Donut shop on Johnston. Acadiana and Lafayette Lanes.
Daiquiri Supreme. Max’s. Could drink at 16ish at some of these spots. Tampico’s, Loose Caboose.

Various friends houses, the lakefront, or the quarter. All after a trip to one of the daiquiri shops to get our beverages from the drive through.
