I don't know what some of you are watching. Bingham rarely has a bad at bat.

I think I really want to see an extended trial of Milam at leadoff. Dude just seems to know how to get on base or if he does not, how to work counts.

The guy who hit .360 last year and who has a .500 OBP so far this year needs to show you more?

Dude struggles at the plate vs mid-major bullpens, let alone frontline SEC-tier guys.
Millazzo hit 289 last season against one of the toughest schedules in college baseball. He is hitting 357 this season. He does not hit for power, but I don't see the basis for saying he struggles against mid-majors. For a very good defensive catcher, he is no liability.

Maybe he struck out in his last AB. That's all some of these people care about.

White should bat sixth. That way you can get lots of people on base prior to him popping out on the first pitch.

Milan at leadoff? Not sure about that
He's #2 on the team in OBP (who has played a lot) and hasnt been getting extra base hits.
#1 is Travinski and I'm pretty sure he's never going to leadoff

Not sure how Pearson has earned a spot. He was good today, but hasn’t been constantly good in his whole career. Brown is faster, much better arm and has a much higher ceiling. I say stick with Brown early in the year and see how he handles sec pitching.
Yeah I dont see how you dont keep rotating some of Brown and Pearson. Pearson has struggled some but had a good game yesterday to make a bit of a come back. Brown has been really good so far this season you dont just permanently stick him on the bench.
The most intriguing guy who hasnt played much but I wish we could somehow see more of is Larson. He absolutely smokes the baseball when he makes contact but his biggest issue is they have him at 1B and Jared Jones has been tearing the cover off the baseball this year. He is listed as a OF but seems like they have worked him only at 1B since the season started. He played OF in a few intersquads at least leading into the season so maybe he somehow can get into that OF rotation somehow.

Agree. He’ll be back in the groove and king of the small ball once SEC action comes around.

Probably will be the lineup the majority of the time. Milam's development at 2B and his start to the season has been very impressive. Also, very hard to keep Neal out of the lineup. His bat has been electric.

And he’s a true freshman that hasn’t seen any pitching. For that matter, I’m not sure we’ll see some of the same guys hitting late in this season like they are now. Meaning it won’t be in the lineup.

Larson needs a midweek start. Would like to see what he could do in a full game

Put fear into the opposition from the first pitch.
White, 3b
Neal, C
Travinski, DH
Pearson, RF
Jones, 1B
Kling, CF
Milam, 2B
Bingham, LF
Braswell, SS
Kinda joking, but don't doubt Jay.

Would not surprise me if Brown bumps Jones vs RHP at some point.

Neither was Beloso. Jay keeps everyone on their toes.
