Pulp Fiction: Vincent & Mia

I’m sure this has been discussed on here before, but here goes:
If Mia doesn’t overdose on Vinnie’s heroin, do they end up sleeping together?
I say that despite Vincent’s best efforts, she would have seduced him.

Eating a bitch out and giving a bitch a foot massage ain't even the same fricking thing.
Not even the same ballpark!
Not even the same ballpark!

When you little scamps get together you’re worse than a sowing circle.

I’m gonna go with no. I actually think that within the story, it’s worse for Vincent that she ODs and potentially dies than it would have been if he had simply slept with her. He was careless to leave the heroin where she could find it, just like he was careless in waiving his gun and killing Marvin, and eventually leaving his gun on the counter for Butch to find and kill him.

Nope. Vincent wouldn’t give in to temptation. I thought that was pretty clear.

Probably not, if only because Vincent was certainly under the impression Marcellus Wallace would frick him up.
He was certainly trying to leave gracefully when he found her ODing on his heroin.

Definitely not the first irresponsible heroin junky.

That may not have been Vincent’s gun…
Vincent and Marcellus were doing a stakeout and Marcellus had gone out to get donuts. Gun was probably his.

That’s my stance too. Not for lack of wanting, but Vincent wants no part of Marcellus Wallace. None. And that fear alone would’ve kept him in line IMO.

Carelessness and its consequences is one of the main themes of the film.

This is a moral test of one’s self

He had to really talk himself into, "going home, jerk off...and that's all you're gonna do."
He was coming out of the bathroom to say goodnight. But Mia is an unfaithful foot massage getting party girl, she would've roped dumb Vincent in.
I mean the dude is on a stakeout to kill Butch in his apartment... And he decides to take a shite, with the door closed, reading Archie Comics while leaving his gun in the kitchen? Nobody on heroin ever does the right thing.

Hell no.....Vinnie already heard how Wallace reacted just from some guy giving her a damn foot massage, so sleeping with the guy's wife would have involved him going "all medieval on his arse".

Of course he would not have. He literally looked into the bathroom mirror and told himself he was going to go home and jerk off. The dude works for Marcellus Wallace...no way.

I can't count the times I stood in front of a bathroom mirror telling myself the same thing Vincent told himself.

The entire foot story and bathroom scene is the filmmaker telling you what was going to happen. It’s not up for interpretation, Tarantino didn’t go through all that trouble for you to assume whatever you want.

Mia: If Marcellus knew about this incident, I’d be in as much trouble as you
Vincent: I seriously doubt that
I love that exchange
