Yes, Europeans did invade a land that was already inhabited when they colonized this country. It’s a travesty and helps demonstrate that the USA has pretty much always been devoid of morals.

How does shoplifting from CVS honor indigenous peoples though?

Are you an atheist, or just not know at all what you’re talking about? I mean, either way I don’t judge. But it’s one of those.

First, GFY.

Second, name a country that wasn't conquered by a superior force from a different country. Including "indigenous" tribes that didn't take over land that "belonged" to other "indigenous" tribes.

Are you aware that much of Europe was invaded by outsiders numerous times through history?

What if I told you native american tribes invaded each other before, during, and after the arrival
of europeans? Do you know why Baton Rouge is called that?

The idea that todays cultural rot is due to
settlers that have been dead for hundreds of years is… sill beyond belief.

Our resident emotional moron with no knowledge of really anything beyond unfettered “empathy” strikes again.

Yes they did, and no, it's not.

It's just the way things were.

If it weren't for the United States and our military in the modern world, it would still be happening, far more often than it currently does. The US does more to facilitate peace and prosperity and equality and justice and human rights than any country—certainly in modern history—but perhaps in the history of the world.

Do we also do things that undermine or even run counter to those ideals because we believe they are in our best interest as a country—or, even for no other reason than that they will benefit wealthy influencers?

Yep, we do that too. And so does every other country on the planet, and they always have, and they always will as long as we're talking about fallen human governments.

But the net effect is still what it is. We still are responsible for having alleviated more poverty, more racism, more discrimination, more inequality, more oppression, than any other country.

Delta's waiting.

Before you go, though, please tell us what country you are going to defect to that has such superior morals. This should be good...

I'm going to pretend you're a serious person and ask:

What nation would you think has better morals than the USA over the past 150 years?

You do realize they came from Eurasia right?

They are from present day Russia.

So in all other parts of the world, we are to assume the people sprouted out of the ground like stalks of corn? How do we determine who has rightful ownership of land? We know that Native Americans were here when the Europeans got here but do you have proof they were the first to inhabit the land or simply in a long line of those who had taken the land from the previous inhabitants?

What land on Earth can you say with 100% certainty is inhabited by its rightful owners?
