That’s just not true. What specific positions are you referring to when you say he’s radically left?

We need a conservative to balance the ticket, not a Democrat.

I'll answer and say his climate change history. I am a big GD climate hoax denier and I think it is the cornerstone of the NWO efforts to bring down this country.

I suspect his views on this are changing... but I can't take the chance.

That being said, I like the guy. I've purchase two of his books... both excellent. I donated a bit money to his campaign. This was when he was a Democrat. I thought he might have a bit of a shot at the nomination. I though Trump V Kennedy might be a better situation for the country. And I felt like he was less likely to steal the election.

I suspect a key difference between him and the rest of the dim climate crazies is that he actually cares about preserving the environment while most all the other prog trash just wants to use it to gain power over you.

That take is as bad as a supposedly conservative white woman voting dem due to abortion.

They really seem to be. He spent decades as an environmental law litigator, going after big polluters and other corporate enemies of the left which has traditionally included pharma, but with vaccination, deep state CT's, I think the tractor-beam of the coalitions is just too strong. I don't think you can hold strong antivaxx and strong anthropogenic climate change views or even zoonotic-origin COVID views at this time. He's coming around to an more orthodox pilling and made Del Bigtree head of his comms team. He's got no climate policy on his website. What's to hold a bawtriot back?

I'm sorry. I'm not following your logic. How does man made global warming conflict with covid Vax skepticism?

There's nothing about the theories that wouldn't logically cohere, but I think audience capture is at play with RFK. His voter base is heterodox thinkers who are thirsty for contrarianism. He's never been strong into global warming activism. I think he'd toss it overboard to stay right with his base voter. And in general, heterodoxers attribute massive-scale conspiracies to answer the tough question of why the consensus evidence doesn't favor their pet theory (in his case, massive vaccine harms). Once you believe a massive conspiracy explains why your vaccine beliefs are heterodox, it's easy to apply the massive conspiracy to climate science consensuses or whatever other consensus your motivated reasoning gives you cause to challenge (say in the case of running a campaign where one's base voters are strongly antivax, favor deep-state conspiracies, etc.).

He once said deniers should be jailed. That's my big problem.

Deniers of climate change? I'd be surprised if he was even close to that these days. His top comms person, Del Bigtree is heavy into anti-vaxx, climate change skepticism, and even some election denialism. I think RFK is getting fully pilled.

In reality, isn't this a way of saying official narrative? Or maybe government propaganda?

It can't be the result of scientific concensus if livelyhood, reputation and licensure are threatened.

those are pejorative ways of saying official accounts.

No one can interpret epidemiology, climate science, and the myriad other things it's in our interests to have opinions about.

It's a legit epistemic problem.

or that’s simply the main way to run cover for a confluence of flawed science, used primarily for political purposes when necessary and ignored when unnecessary
