The man lives our city. He was partying at the parades with us. I’m pretty sure he returns to the Saints. What he did to the Falcons should get his name on the Dome next to Archie.

Winston can stay for like 2-3 million. He can take a walk if he wants to continue the days of closer to 10 million.

Why not do another $4 million/1 year deal if he’s willing to? He’s one of the few Saints who’s paid accordingly. Pretty sure we pay more to Foster “can’t catch can’t block” Moreau. Not sure how that guy makes the roster much less gets paid like that. The results difference between Carr and Winston is not very different. Yet Carr gets $34 million more per year. It’s wild

Winston is 44-54 in his career. Win percentage = 45%
Carr is 72-87. Win percentage = 45%

….WILD

Given what the Saints saw from Winston last season, they might as well just elevate Haener to back-up. Kubiak could very well see Haener as a better fit for the system that he wants to implement anyway.

Winston is another one of those guys you keep if possible for what he brings to the locker room and not really what he brings to the field, (Though what he brings to the field isn't terrible.)

Insubordination? Blatantly not following the play that was called to end the game?

I’d keep Winston over Dennis Allen. But if we keep Winston, you might as well stick a fork in Allen. He will have less respect in the locker room if that’s even possible.

I’m just rooting for The Texans in January while the saints are taking their vacation.

In his defense, most of the other team board suck and will drag your speed down with all of the adds littered all over their pages.

Doubt it.

Winston wants a chance to be a starter, Carr can have a leg amputated & Allen would give him the start over Winston the following week.

Kubiak probably wants a backup that'll fit a quick pass philosophy, Winston is not that.

If it was just about good vibes & being a good locker room guy Winston would be a lifer.

Only people like you care about this.

Clearly the locker room loved it and the coaching staff doesn't care. Allen was the only one to overreact and look like a dufus and apologize to a rival team.

Trust me he learned his lesson from that. It wasn't that big a deal and he likely understand n ow that he should have not addressed it at all.

Who gives af about the locker room.. Thats whats wrong with the saints. The locker room runs the organization and the face-painters praise the pos players. Imagine if a back up QB did that at the Patriots or anywhere else, his bags would be packed the next day. That was an ultimate bush league play. Who cares about the falcons/arthur smith feelings, but it made the Saints look like shite. You don't run a fake knee HB dive on the goal line. Could've gotten someone hurt.
