I'm already sick of temps in the 80s in my TX burg. Heck, it hit 91 at D/FW airport today and just heard 97 in Laredo. Mercy

I guess it hasn't made it this far south. It's been beautiful here the past few days, mid 70s, sunny and slightly breezy.

I’m right on the southern edge of a TorCon 5. Gonna be a long night on the weather radio.

Yeah, these nighttime events suck all the way around. Be safe and good luck, Pisco.

I'm in the NW suburbs of Chicago, and it's getting hairy. Temp dropped lots of hail shite flying down the street. Sirens going off.

Lots of lightning and tremendous thunder. Knocked a couple of pictures off the wall.

It is transitioning to more of a windbag with a hail threat now. Could still have some embedded rotations with a chance to put down a brief tornado.

Temp dropped

The wind is gonna shift out of the NW and then the temps will really start tumbling. I've been watching temps fall with the passing of the front, and it is a legit drop. Temps in the teens now NW of Des Moines with a 20-30mph wind.

Just made it to Wisconsin tonight for business trip. 70+ degrees today when I got here. Trying to get this last drink down before the storms hit with threat of tornadoes and will be snowing in the am and like 20 degrees.

Legend have you been keeping up with what’s going on in Canadian? Seeing reports of the whole town being blocked off because of the fires? I don’t ever remember seeing a fire as big as it’s showing on Satellite view

Just checked the weather app and it showed a high of 73 today and a low of 12 tonight.

Winds have picked up big time and temp dropping like a stone.

Dudes were out golfing in shorts this afternoon and the course will be covered in snow tomorrow.

Wildfires are relentless, that’s sad if the whole town got destroyed. A lot of livestock and agriculture in that area too

I have. There are several different fires in the panhandle. I knew the fire went through part of the WMA, but hadn't seen much on losses in town yet. I hate to hear that.

I also hope folks got out. I saw some video earlier with traffic backed up, but can't remember which town it was in.
