The McConnell wing of the party first choice (IMO) is Tim Scott. Tim Scott will be the vector to get PDB intel and internal correspondence funneled to McConnell so they can sabotage Trump.
Tim Scott is a good choice in terms of bringing in a lot of campaign donors money but he is dangerous and Trump needs to assign him to far away projects that keep him from being McConnell's mole.

Picking Tim gets you donor money. These donors will expect Tim to be McConnell's mole in the WH. Trump needs to understand this. Hopefully he does and keeps Tim far away from the WH.
