amazingly she played that autistic CEO character in Silicon Valley
Yeah, I almost put that in the OP as well. I still need to go back and finish Silicon Valley.
What's funny is what prompted this thread (other than me wanting to start it since I've been watching it lately) was that my TV was on Seinfeld yesterday and it was the Yada Yada episode. I've never watched Seinfeld (for whatever reason I just can't stand it), but noticed Suzanne Cryer was in it so I was like "oh shite that's the chick from Two Guys, I need to start that thread tomorrow."

I guess I will be adding this to my Plex server tonight now

I just finished streaming rules of engagement. I never watched it when it was airing. I really enjoyed it
Rules of Engagement is another one that I absolutely LOVED that almost nobody has ever heard of. I've watched that entire series about 5 or 6 times through at least. One of my favorites. But admittedly I'm a huge David Spade fan so that helps. It also helps that Patrick Warburton and Oliver Hudson are also hilarious, and Bianca Kajlich and Megyn Price are nice to look at.

Bump this thread if you start watching it. I'd love to hear a new watcher's perspective on it.
It's just a really enjoyable 90s show, if that makes sense. And it completely doesn't take itself seriously and is just sort of stupid, silly fun. They have like spoof type Halloween episodes where everyone gets murdered, for example.

It had a pretty solid cast that were good in their roles. David Spade was David Spade, which I like. There's no way it would be made today. Some of the topics and jokes would not be permissible today.

There was a LOT of gay jokes and references, and a lot of "You're not a manly man" type comedy, that's sure.
But that's another one that was right up my alley mainly because the main dudes in it just fricked with each other and ragged on each other just like my friends and I always have.
RoE is one that I remember watching the pilot episode for and watched it every week as it aired. I think I was pumped about a show with Spade in it and liked it immediately once it started.

I am not completely new to it, but its been many many years and maybe like 20 episodes total..so it will be a pretty new perspective

Sounds like the perfect getting ready for bed show

Before Two Guys and a Girl, Taylor was on Boston Common a short lived sit com on NBC.

Yeah, she was still smoking hot in SV.

They cut the Pizza Place name I think by the 2nd season. Traylor Howard I still remember best from Me Myself & Irene.
I didn’t watch much of it back then but may give it a go. My favorite ABC comedy of all time was Coach. I’ve seen all of them.
Late 90s ABC also had The Norm Show which didn’t last long but was hilarious

Nah, it was S3. Here are the opening credits for season two of the show. It still has the pizza place.
The first (I think) episode of S3 has Berg quitting the pizza place, and I think they pretty much abandon it completely from there forward.

Coach was really good. I have a buddy of mine that rewatched the series not too long ago and he said it still holds up really well.

I have a soft spot for coach. I remember watching it on TV when I was in high school with my parents. Much simpler times.

Drew Carey, Spin City
two of the shows I had in mind for the thread. They both had pretty long runs but have virtually no legacy as no one really ever brings them up/ I enjoyed both then but haven't ever re watched to see if they held up

Naked Truth
had to look this one up because I completely forgot about it but now I remember it
quote:
Pulitzer Prize nominated photographer Nora Wilde (Téa Leoni) divorces her rich, philandering husband Leland Banks, asking for nothing in the settlement except the use of her maiden name. Broke and without prospects for employment, after Leland blackballs her from respectable mainstream work, Nora seeks work at The Comet, a sleazy celebrity tabloid owned by Sir Rudolph Halley (Tim Curry) and run by ruthless Camilla Dane (Holland Taylor). Initially, Nora is repulsed by the depths to which she has to sink for her new job – she finds herself in demeaning situations such as stealing Anna Nicole Smith's urine to run a pregnancy test, and staking out the sewer for mutant alligators – but before long, she begins to feel at home. Nora's coworkers include egotistical Nicky Columbus (Jonathan Penner), a potential love interest; T.J. (Darryl Sivad), a humorless African-American man always clad in dark sunglasses; and Stupid Dave (Mark Roberts) who is mentally disabled. At home, Nora deals with deranged building manager Mr. Donner (Jack Blessing) and Chloe Banks (Amy Ryan), her best friend and former step-daughter.
imagine pitching that one now

I remember really enjoying the show but hating the name of it. I loved the smart-assery of Berg, somehow I remembered that was Ryan Reynolds when he got big. I also recognized Fillion from it when he was on Firefly.

What streaming service were you doing a rewatch on if you don't mind me asking?
Clearly you didn't read the OP.
According to Justwatch.com, its on AppleTV but I can't find it. It is currently on Plex. Confirmed.

Coach absolutely stands up. The best thing about that show was the cast. It was perfectly cast. Craig T Nelson had already played football coaches in movies so he was perfect as Hayden. Howard as the AD was hilarious. Dauber and Luther were great as asst coaches. I hope it gets put on Antenna TV at some point. I will say the quality goes down when he moves to Florida to coach the pro team which only lasted the last couple seasons. But all the seasons when they are at Minnesota State are great.
Coach was pure episodic comedy except for 1 episode. It had Bob Golic (who was on SBTB College years) guest star as a retired former player going into the Minn State Hall of Fame.
He tells Hayden that he’s dying of brain cancer and its due to all the steroids he took in college.
Hayden is feeling upset telling Christine how unfair it all was. “This guy gave me everything he had as a scrawny freshman and I told him it wasn’t good enough. So he took steroids and the doctors think that’s what caused the cancer”. Christine replies “Well you didn’t know. How could you have? If you did you would have stopped it”
Hayden replies “That’s the thing Christine. I did know”. And the show cuts to black and rolls credit. Only dramatic episode they ever did but it was really good.
