There was a lot of talk about offense this year. What little I have seen so far they seen to Be swinging the bat better.

Saw the thread this morning and didn’t realize the game was this early and on tv.

Louisiana is not an elite softball state, even ULL uses out of state players. We are blessed to have such a strong program.

Yep. She’s built a strong roster - lots of speed and lefties with a good mix of power. Strong defense. Pitching seems to be coming together.

Dobson is still here. Neal replaced what’s-her-name who took the Billy Graham crusades to NCST.
Not sure why you hang on to Dobson since Neal is a hitting/offensive coach, but who knows? Beth may have saved herself from Dobson becoming the Lou Tepper albatross around her neck assuming—I hope—that Neal is the boss man for hitting and offense now.
Watching him coach first base, he brings an intensity and in-game passion that this coaching staff was sorely lacking.

Ill save you the time. For a while, ULL beat LSU with Louisiana players that LSU didn't want---but that has been a little while ago. It is different now with the new coach
But McNeese does get a ton from SE Texas and the LC area

I wasn’t hanging on to anyone. I thought I saw Dobson in the dugout but others were saying we had a new hitting/offensive coach. Did Dobson get demoted but stayed on staff? Or is the new guy (who i saw coaching first base) assisting Dobson with the hitting?

only 4 LA kids on this roster out of 21. they recruit nationwide. how is that FULL of LA kids??? what is full of? a majority? 4 is far from a majority.

Huh? Where did you get I was saying YOU personally wanted to “hang on to” anyone?
Let me try this again. Yes, Dobson is still on staff so you likely saw him sitting on the overturned bucket or whatever he does.
I don’t understand why BETH kept Dobson since Neal is a hitting-offensive coach. Leftwich left for NCST in what was likely a “find somewhere else” scenario. I don’t know what the division of duties is now, but I hope Neal is the one and only hitting coach.
