Sweet baby Jesus, let's hope Trump is president when this occurs and not someone with Obama's hand up their arse.

Let's say the national debt is the thing out of the possible 15 that destroy this country.

The world implodes, wars break out as the chaos ensues, and everyone takes major steps back in terms of living standards. We're likely living closer to the 1500s than 1900s within a decade.

With who? most of our debt is owed to our own citizens and no other country who holds our debt has the military capacity to come collect.

Each other.

Have you seen that show, The Walking Dead?

Christ, do you remember 2020? I’m surprised people didn’t act that way over toilet paper running out.

Since most of our debt is internally held, I don't see how people not getting their T-Bill payout will cause the energy and agriculture sectors to completely seize up. Now, those dependent upon the government for their subsistence will probably cause problems, but those will be largely contained in the cities. Taking that nonsense out into the countryside wouldn't end well for them.

Truth

Many don’t comprehend the volume of small arms and ammunition held by the US citizenry. It’s also heavily slanted to the hard working mild mannered productive members of society. When the dam breaks it will be on a scale never before witnessed.

It’s literally in the communist handbook.

Step 1) Ferment unrest/revolution
Step 2) Seize power during the chaos
Step 3) Consolidate power by liquidating anyone who could act against you in the future (military leadership, academics, political adversaries, undesirables, etc)

Maybe not for long…

If they are dependent on EBT and are in urban areas, they may cannibalize themselves, metaphorically or literally, in short order.

It's a good thing saviors like the WEF, UN, WHO and Gates await with a plan to help the few that survive.

That’s the primary reason for wanting to run the government right now.

The debt service and political divide is intractable, people just don’t want to hear it because they understandably don’t like to accept the pain and suffering that will accompany a financial/political reset.

No one who isn’t a psychopath should “want” either to happen, but not wanting something doesn’t mean you can’t be objective about the realities of the world around you and plan accordingly.

But the primary reason to want Trump in the White House is to manage the decline as effectively as possible, hold the reins of power in case the collapse of the dollar occurs, ensure the US military is only used to uphold the constitution and have leverage as to what follows a potential fiscal/political reset.

The same things that happened in Venezuela, but on a larger scale and more violent. We have a much more heavily armed populace than Venezuela. Hyperinflation, eating cats and dogs, parents selling their children into prostitution.

A state of nationwide civil unrest isn’t the ideal time to be making jack moves to seize and consolidate even more power. If dire enough a situation, they might be on the receiving end of said jack moves.

If it went that far, you're right.

We live in interesting times.
