My concern with Oats is there is talk he will be the top candidate at Ohio State leaving an opening at Bama. Hopefully, if that happens, Wade is not yet a viable option for them, I would hate that more than anything.

At some point talent takes over in all sports.

Wright has either ran past shooters or put up a weak arm as if for show on defense. Offense has been horrible. Somehow espn only credits him with 2 to's. 1-5 from field.

You're kinda salty. Did one of the LSU players spurn your advances?
It was a serious question. Sorry if it upset you.

You come here with an agenda — feels like you’re hoping they lose so you can double down on your schtick. You & every poster like you are fans that LSU would be better off without.
I never pull for a loss. I’m just fed up with this product and knowing full well that we don’t stand a chance with the good teams in the league. It’s also not acceptable to me to have inexplicable redshirts and no contingency plans (ie no real point guard on the team other than Cook). Quite frankly, this coaching staff has zapped the energy out of the program imo. There’s talent on the team but unfortunately the results don’t match.
If the current state of the program is acceptable to you, that’s your deal.

This would cause trailer park wars.

Everyone here understands your frustration. That is no reason to continually make snide remarks and say things that have no real value other than to disparage the team. Talk about the things you see on the court. There is plenty to complain about there.

This isn’t the goal. I’m not the only person here optimistic about how next year’s roster is shaping up.
If we flop next year I may do a full turn on McMahon, but while it might be hard to see now — there is reason to be excited for 2025.
The most frustrating thing about this team is it feels like they are just a step short quite often — but that’s not necessarily a bad sign, considering that if we’re being honest …far more than a just a step outmanned.

LSU went from having a lead to down 20 in nearly 5 minutes. Impressive.

I wish I could upvote this more. It’s not that we don’t want them to win. It’s the fact that we realize that McMahon ain’t the guy. We will never compete for an SEC championship much less nationally. The game has changed tremendously with NIL and transfer portal and you can win immediately. To give someone 5 years to “build” a team while the fan base becomes apathetic is ridiculous. I liked WW and he never should been fired imo. But it’s in the past and he’s never coming back. I hope Scott critically looks at the resume after this season and makes a tough choice and hires an elite coach.
