I have a family member in her late twenties who ended up in the hospital for four days last year over a doubled ear infection. Regular antibiotics weren't working, she spiked a fever, and her ENT admitted her for IV antibiotics. It took her a while to get over it.

I had them pretty bad as a kid and into my early twenties. Fortunately, and knock on wood, I haven't had an issue with them for a while now.

You should talk to that gay baw in the other thread about men acting like sissies when they're sick.

Just getting over one, first as an adult. Used steroid/antibiotic drops and a good cleaning.

I hear nose picking is the leading cause of Alzheimers. Could ear picking be a cause of ear infections?

For ear infection:

Get some extra virgin olive oil and some garlic, cut the garlic a few times and then put it in a small pot and bring it to a light boil then get a dropper and put it in your ear after about 5-10 minutes.

Ear infection usually gone after 1 day.

My wife had one a couple years ago. The ENT said she was the oldest patient that got tubes. The tube was in for 1.5 years.

I have scar tissue in one ear from frequent childhood ear infections. So every time I get fluid in that ear from a sinus infection my ear kills me but it’s not actually infected. Ear pain is not fun.

I had my first one since I was a little kid back in Dec.

Are you having some Viral symptoms? Mine lingered for like 2.5-3 weeks on and off with some viral sinus crud.

I’ve had recurring ear infections over the last few years and I’m in my early 30’s. I never had ear issues as a baby or child. I’m getting Eustachian tube balloon dilation done instead of tubes to deal with this issue. My ENT says they rather do this procedure than tubes in adults. It’s done in the office and they numb you.
