District Judge Traci Soderstrom also agreed to not seek judicial office again in Oklahoma under a proposed settlement agreement filed with the Oklahoma Court on the Judiciary. She had faced removal from the bench over accusations that included gross neglect of duty, oppression in office, lack of proper temperament and failure to supervise her office.
Soderstrom had been scheduled to go on trial in a special court starting Monday.

Was there a BR councilwoman who was caught shopping on amazon during meetings? It might not have been in BR but it happened somewhere. That's pretty sad if you can't stay away from texting or shopping long enough to do your job.

My 73-year-old Mom can't stay off her phone if you aren't actively engaging with her for like 10 secs. Parents visited this past weekend and every single time my Dad and I would start talking about something that wasn't interesting for her she would start looking at her phone. Half the time she would just start watching Netflix with no headphones and the sound on. Just mindblowing for me.
