Did anyone mention that Putin told Clinton that Russia was interested in joining NATO?

And Clinton said no.
I’ve always said that Russia should be our ally.
Apparently the left and Deep State think otherwise.

Can’t keep up a good scare when the boogeyman comes out from under the bed and wants to help you clean your room.

Yes but this is well known. That’s why I think the OT crew are retards. Putin clearly said to stay away and we kept going.

I and some others here have mentioned this in the past.
Also interesting what he mentioned about a common missile defense system.

The entire point of NATO is a defensive alliance against an offensive Russia.
This does not mean that any alliance between the US and Russia is impossible.

Listening to that interview it seems Putin was turned down on several occasions by the US on various offers for cooperation.

What’s interesting is that Clinton did not initially say no. It was only after some time that he came and told Putin no. The point being that the President is NOT the one in charge. Makes you wonder who’s making the actual decisions.

Honestly, it’s hard to let the Soviets into the group that’s supposed to protect against the Soviets.

Russia is no longer a communist nation.

Well the Soviet Union was dismantled no?
And they are still to this day trying to get Ukraine and Georgia to join, and work with Moldova.
Seems to me like western expansion pissing people off.

Will anyone in this stupid administration even watch the interview? Is it possible that they learn anything?

Foreign policy is made by the Deep State and military industrial complex.

Such a lost fricking opportunity.
China would be a fricking backwater.

They know. YOU aren't supposed to know. What Tucker did by going around approved filters was a no no. Your daily intake of info is normally adjusted to tell you who the bad guy is.

It's funny how China and N Korea are these hated boogey men but who has been in conflict or war for our entire lives and our fathers lives?
The U.S.
And who hasn't been in conflict? China and N Korea.

Maybe. But when Clinton was against it, the world still wasn’t sure if the Soviets were truly gone.

The retards in this administration don’t make any decisions.

But he was definitely correct on one thing- he said the US created many positions to bring down the USSR, and that it is still being controlled by those positions.
That would be the intelligence agencies and the MIC. They "NEED" a Big Bad to justify their existence and continued lack of leash, and that remains Russia by default. The Chinese aren't there yet and are more of an economic threat, and Iran etc just doesn't warrant what we spend on military stuff.

I was part of those discussions. I was there (though not in the room).
Clinton did not say no, he said, sure, if you clean up your act.
At the time for example Russian conscripts did not go to whwat we know as "boot camp" which is tough but still structured with a drill sargeant and all sorts of oversight (hidden camera's) that those involved don't even see. In Russia their boot camp was (is?) called Gedovischen and it simply is brutality excused as "making them tough" with no purpose, no oversight, it's "Lord of the Flies" type stuff.

Clinton also said they have to have a far cleaner procurement system for projects over a million dollars. You had (have) Russian generals living like kings on salaries that should not allow for this.
Put simply, we did not say no, we said yest, but for God'ssake stop being so stupid and corrupt. They chose not to listen.
