Pels should trade for Ben Simmons

If he was willing to play center he could rebound and play defense and play some pg in a pinch, and could be acquired for minimal assets. I don't know how to make the salaries work on a trade but would give him a look if I was Griffin

Ben Simmons has been tantamount to a neoplasm for every team he’s stolen money from.
Hard pass.
Hard pass.

He's actually been playing pretty well since he came back.
But no, the pels should not trade for him

His nba history would suggest that’s
a bad idea for our franchise.

Yes let’s trade for the most consistently injured person in the whole league

Simmons is at $38m, Val only gets you $15mil. You can't do Val and Nance. So you have to do CJ or start adding 2 or 3 of Herb, Dyson, Trey, and Hawkins
It's not possible, and we shouldn't add him even if it was.

If only I had more than 1 downvote to give.

quote:no troll, jv is on the wrong side of 30 and a free agent next year, I love jv, but it wouldn't hurt to at least think about replacing him, everything we need jv to do well Simmons can do well also(rebouding, defense), Simmons can also do things that jv can't, (quicker, can run offense in emergency)
This has to be a troll

The key part of your post.
I will say this, though. The fact that Simmons is back and playing reasonably well may make Brooklyn to ship out either DayRon Sharpe or Nic Claxton (probably Claxton). I still think that Claxton is a possible trade target.

Ben Simmons will be used as a trade filler for whatever big name player the Nets will be trading for this offseason.

If it was possible he would fit but I’m not trading anything worth a damn to get him. The one problem with BI, Z, and CJ is there is only 1 ball to go around, you damn sure don’t have to worry about Simmons taking shots from them lol

Man frick you AND Ben Simmons.

Ben Simmons is making 38 million this year and 40 million next year. He is a top 20 highest paid player and not a top 150 player. That is the worst contract in basketball over the next two years. No. Just no.

Hell no another player that don’t look to score…

If you would have said that Ben Simmons is the absolute last player in the NBA I would trade for, then I would agree.
