Because they do not want the Putin side driving the WW3 Reddit narrative. It would be especially devastating if Putin reveals reasonable peace agreement terms. That is a huge risk to many MIC businesses and war centric NGOs. They need this war in Ukraine to continue after we left the Afghanistan money laundering region.
I sure wish all the military industrial complex businesses would get into civil engineering and construction. Just think of all the money we spent on wars for nothing that could have been used to build up US transportation systems. It would be state of the art.
