It really is frustrating that the team could be as good as we hoped, but they crumble under pressure.

He’s not 20 he is what he is now.

He doesn’t do this against good teams because he can’t with any regularity

Impossibility. People are born with that killer instinct and he doesn’t have it. I get roasted in the game thread for this same take. It’s just unfortunate that he’s not that guy.

I don’t see why we don’t just live off the Zion/BI pick and roll and score endless unstoppable buckets all the time. What can you do against it really? It’s either a Zion slam or an open BI Mid-range every single time

If he gets up 6-7 threes a night, almost all the BI slander will disappear.

I think opponent matters less than his own desire to either a) get to the rim more consistently on a game-to-game basis or b) shoot 3s. Ability is there regardless of opponent.

BI has played well against good teams. Frustrated fans have selective memory.

You start with what he did well last night. Move hard without the ball and be shot ready when you catch the ball. Breaking out of his comfort zone of taking two dribbles to get in rhythm would go a long way against really good defensive teams. Even if he's not making shots like he did last night, BI simply being fast with decisions to drive, shoot, or pass would make things much easier on himself and the rest of the team.
