I watched the 60 Minutes interview last night.

The NWO Globalist marxist socialist progs have succeeded .... this country is done. No country can survive what they have done to us financially.

Chaos will eventually ensue.

Certainly some elected Congress people are in tune with the globalists elite plans to destabilize America, but most are just playing the DC game of greed and power. That's no excuse, they actually represent and push what's best for "we the people", if they get their heads outta their asses it's all so easy to see.

No shite, Sherlock.

That much is not a conspiracy theory as much as an observation that the sky is blue.

When committed statists such as Powell openly admit that the current trajectory is unsustainable and there is no political effort to alter course, it suggests to me that the imminent collapse is planned.

Is indeed the true goal of The “Great Reset” to recalibrate Western markets into a fully command and control economy?

Certainly it is a conspiracy theory to suggest so.

Yet at this late stage and after all we have witnessed in the past four years alone, I fail to understand how any rational person can’t seriously consider that theory as being at least plausible.

Just a 5 question pass/fail civics test on each ballot.

That would be one way.

A 5th grade level civics test would be a good start.

Our citizens who were legal migrants could pass it.

Yep, the UniParty has stolen all the money. All the money in Social Security (it's just a Ponzi scheme now). They've drained massive amounts of money from our Defense Budget. The DOD is paying for gender transition surgery now. Absurdity et lunacy.

Unsustainable spending on steroids.

Not defending Powell or the Fed in the slightest, but he/it controls Monetary policy, which is only one half of the equation (and half the problem, for sure...but only half).

Fiscal policy (taxing/spending) is the other half.

Monetary and Fiscal policy can work together (expansionary+expansionary or contractionary+contractionary), cancel each other out (contractionary+expansionary), or one can overpower the other (contractionary+EXPANSIONARY).

Right now, we have the latter. Rates have to go to double digits at a minimum or the government is going to keep lighting money on fire.

Property owners, 100%.

Of any race, of course.

"Property Owner" in the context of 2024 = "voting is restricted to only those who have made a net contribution to the United States Treasury"

Who’s pointing the gun though?

Right now? No one.

Eventually? An even worse spiraling debt crisis, but that will war with our soft society's demand that the federal government "do something" to alleviate the burdens on the citizenry caused by the currency collapse.

People want things done, but they don't want to personally sacrifice in order to achieve them.

National debt grew by just over $1 trillion in a little more than three months. This is going to get really ugly soon.

BTW, I wonder how long it's going to be before these insane Leftists want those tests abolished for immigrants? We all know it's coming.
why abolish something that has no meaning?

every foreign national is required as a contingency of their citizenship to recite an Oath of Allegiance that begins with the following clear and concise statement:
quote:

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen
and yet current immigration law allows dual citizenship

its just meaningless blather designed to create the appearance that newly minted citizens are loyal to the US

i imagine that the majority of immigrants applying for US citizenship are given the answers to the test beforehand

you need a total collapse to usher in the new world order. I mean, has no one listened to any of these fricking assholes that are part of the WEF? They literally said you will own nothing and be happy, also that you will eat the bugs. It's not just an attack on our currency but our food production as well.

No one gets re/elected by cutting federal spending. Cutting Medicare/caid spending, gutting defense, firing federal workers, defunding grants, etc. is completely contrary to politics so it's going to happen only with a gun to the head of Congress and the White House.

It's like parenting but if your kids could vote you out of the house if you made them eat vegetables and put down their phones.

One can debate why all day long but the American electorate is what is destroying America. Politicians are only a reflection of the problem.
