How many illegal immigrants are sleeping in your home and how many more will you take?
Let's compare the Fed, La & NGO $ resources expended importing, educating, supporting and providing medical care to the cost of closing the gate.

What does the governor of Louisiana have to do with the Texas/Mexico border?
It's a show of support, but you already know this.
I have to travel at times, not because I can't do my job remotely, but because being there in person shows a higher level of commitment than a memo, note, email or even a call.
This border crisis is a manmade NATIONAL disaster and every state in the union should be supporting our border states in any way they can.
I'm guessing you assume his office can only work on one issue at a time, and because he's supporting Texas publicly they can't work on other topics privately?
Did you once complain about Edwards not addressing homeowners rate hikes? You do know the current rate has more to do with the past decisions by our "leaders"?

Better the Southern US border than Syria and Iran.

You seem to be in favor of an open border (or a border that is tantamount to being open).

What have I posted gives you that impression?
What did you post…nothing, and that’s the issue.
You have REPEATEDLY refused to answer a simple question:
Are you housing and providing for illegal aliens in your home.
Your refusal to answer speaks volumes.

before running to the border to grandstand?
Why is it only grandstanding when GOP members do it.

Within his first month of leadership he’s traveling to Texas and talking about sending our resources there while his constituents can’t afford homeowners insurance.
They should get jobs then.

Whatever you do, don’t close Twitter or TikTok. The illegals might invade your home if you don’t remain vigilant via social media.
Yeah, we know. Thanks for the advice.
Don't let them bust a nut. Must be tough, those the only men you can get huh?

He should have already done this, rather than waiting 2 weeks after the feds bottom lined Texas. He also didn't need a press conference to do send help. Waiting until the drama and risk has clearly passed says it all. IMHO

But he can travel to Texico for soundbytes in that month. That’s the whole point.
Please link all of your posts complaining about the N.O. mayors wasteful travels and how much it bothers you. Please add to that how much it has lowered your homeowners insurance.

Jeff Landry wants to send Louisiana National Guard to U.S.-Mexico border
I guess if Jeff wants to do this, his base won’t care. But the real action is in the millions for transportation, housing, catering, etc that will be handed to a friend of Jeff’s to make this happen.
I guess the better question is, “Who does Jeff want to shovel money to?”
The thing to watch with Jeff Landry is the huge transfer of state funds to private friends of Jeff.

In the state he was elected to govern.
Is there some emergency that requires the Guard?
Next time a hurricane hits New Orleans, should other states not send their state Guard troops to offer assistance?
The truth is, you don't like the fact that states are banding together to help Texas, and you're throwing up a textbook example of a whataboutism as a smokescreen.
If insurance gets better or worse, it won't be because of this.

What’s this got to do with the national guard?
Also, illegals raise our rates because they don’t carry insurance. We have to foot the bill for the people who aren’t.
Could you imagine just say 32,000 people showing up to your city and 3,000 children enter the school system?
Yeah that’s just one month in some of these cities.

We are already paying for the National Guard. Might as well send them to do something useful that Louisiana will benefit from like protecting our national border from invaders, verses letting them sit around jerking each other off.

Louisiana can’t handle millions of illegals.
I bet I’ll see a few today. Want to post your address so I can send them your way?

The largest population of Hondurans outside of Honduras lives in Louisiana.
How did they get here? Washed up on our beaches?
It’s truly pathetic to virtue signal on an anonymous message board.
Go down to the border and help these people. You won’t, because you and people like tboy are gigantic pieces of shite.

Trump signed the largest spending bill in our nation’s history. They’re all the same
Only people to vote against it were republicans.
Not one single democrat. You prob also thought republicans were dumb for wanting to start the economy up again.
How many boosters did you get?
The problem isn’t a one time emergency spending, the problem was the over spending by people like Biden the previous 50 years and then of course his continued spending on covid after covid was over.
