Wow, this thread went sideways quickly.

Can I want the border to be fixed without having to pay extra state taxes? I’d rather the governor concentrate on things like the Louisiana economy, coastal erosion, crime, etc. and less on national issues.

I know we pay for the national guard, but it cost a ton more to actually call them up and deploy them. The governor has already called for cuts because of the fiscal cliff. Are we okay with keeping taxes in place or increased taxes for inserting ourselves into things like this?

I’m okay with him going and saying he supports them and calling for a solution. Just not sure that solution needs to be on the backs of Louisiana taxpayers.

So, within a month, Cubbies confirmed that she is, in fact, a Democrat lemming, incapable of thinking for herself and putting together an individual, rational thought.

I'm guessing you assume his office can only work on one issue at a time, and because he's supporting Texas publicly they can't work on other topics privately?

Why is it preferable for him to show public support to other states by traveling to them and and filming videos but privately address matters that his constituents elected him to address?

Don’t his constituents deserve videos and photos and lip service too?

You have REPEATEDLY refused to answer a simple question

Why are you grilling me about the Texas border? You’re seriously concerned about the border so why aren’t you there protecting it? How many hours have YOU devoted to protecting the border you care so much about?

This is the game you’re playing isn’t it? If I want the governor to govern the state he was elected to govern, you’re saying I need to house immigrants? How does that even make sense?

The fact that you are losing your mind over every action that Landry makes, means he's doing a great job.

When JBE went to the border to film videos immediately after he was inaugurated, I said the same thing about him.

The border is supposed to stop illegal immigrants from coming here. With your open borders attitude, surely that means you are willing to let them into your home, correct? Or does the compassion lie solely on someone else's doorstep?

I'm assuming you spend a fair amount of time blaming other people for your mistakes.

Typical democrat rhetoric as usual. Yeah let’s worry about your insurance as millions of illegals cross the border. You need help.

You got all this from me stating facts about Landry? Can you please point out where I got it wrong. When did Landry campaign about closed primaries? When did he campaign about shooting videos at the Texas Mexico border?

It looks like you’re so brainwashed by conservative men that you can’t actually make a point other than “you’re a democrat if you criticize anything a conservative man says.” I’ve been called way worse names than a democrat in this thread alone so I’m not sure what you’re trying to accomplish.

I guess it’s much easier to say “DeMoCrAt!!!1” instead of actually having to defend the men you worship.

You realize this is a political discussion board, right?

Do you consider yourself losing your mind every time you post here? Is that what everyone is doing when they post? Or just the women?

???

I’m not the person who believes in order to expect the governor of Louisiana to govern Louisiana, one must first house immigrants.

And how did you draw this conclusion? Because I want the newly inaugurated governor of La to focus on La and actually stay in La?

So everyone who has opinions about anything other than the border wants open borders? That’s the claim?

All of your threads are about Landry. And you didn't start creating threads until JBE's goofy arse got out of office.

Yes, you are triggered by anything Landry and your points are not well thought out.

There are many women here that would be offended that you are trying to speak for them. Not all of them escape personal responsibility with your ease.

So you are a hypocrite then. You condemn anyone dare address a major problem that affects our state, but you don't personally want to do anything about it.

Because I want the newly inaugurated governor of La to focus on La and actually stay in La?

Open borders does affect Louisiana. Unemployment, drug overdoses, cartel crime, substance abuse, health care, insurance, crime, blight are all negatively affected by the rise in illegal immigration. But, you don't think that far ahead, do you?

quote:

So everyone who has opinions about anything other than the border wants open borders?

Wat? You are in a thread about the border. We are discussing the border. You are bitching about Landry doing something about the border. YOu are bitching that Landry wants to stop the flow of illegal immigrants but you, personally, don't do anything at all about this. You aren't housing illegals. You aren't donating your money to illegals or fronts that are setup to suppor this. Why?

quote:

what mistakes?

Every mistake. Every mistake you made, i am willing to bet, with 100% accuracy, you put the blame on someone else. YOu never stopped and said, "my choices led me down this path, maybe i should change my habits". instead, there was an excuse.
