He was the voice of Scooby Doo? I've never heard that before...

I was in my wife's car yesterday so I was listening to the radio and had it on 103.3 and they played a marketing song for the station, and it was some stupid bullshite that Innes had obviously made. And it was so hokey and stupid, and of course there was a line in it about how he was the voice of Scooby Doo. That dude is the most egregiously overly self-promoted dude in history. I get that radio personalities often are, but man he takes it up a million levels. I can't stand to hear him talk.

And he also talks about his "bits" all the time apparently, and all it reminded me of was that absolutely awesome clip of when Josh had Frank Caliendo on and Scott was forcing him to do his "bit" with him. Man that was awesome.

Out of the hour-long talk how much of that time is spent randomly making people cringe when he breaks out into the Scooby Doo voice?

Also, Scott has not voiced any of the Scooby Doo characters as much as he says he has. He did a few shorts, video games, and toys. They use real actors for the animated movies and cheaper guys like Scott for the lower-budget stuff. Much like Tom Hanks's brother. He does Woody in all the small cartoons, toys, etc and Tom does the actual movies.

Scott hasn't done Scooby since 2009 it looks like and only did 24 gigs as him and one movie as Scrappy

Josh is now on St Louis radio in the afternoons on the classic rock station. He also fills in from time to time on some of the sports shows on stations in the same building.

He's still a tool. I haven't seen any listeners talking positively about him.

Will he also tell the story about the radio gold bit that was him and Frank Caliendo?

I met this guy once and I honestly lost count of the times he let everyone know about his Scooby Doo thing.

I've never been able to grasp why people who do cartoon character voices think anyone actually cares about the person who does the voiceovers. I just can't see any kids going "Mom I want to buy a Tshirt signed by the guy who fakes that dog voice on those cartoons"
