They don’t mention players results in the Seminole club invite which is also a loaded field. They don’t mention anything outside of the established golf ecosystem
If liv simply decided to conform, which is their own choosing, all the LIv accolades would be mentioned. Blame LIV and Greg of you choose to blame anyone

How can the Masters say they continue to develop golf interest internationally? For fricks sake get the Saudi dick out of your arse. They nor pretty much anyone else has but more time and effort to develop international golf as the masters

Honestly, I’m not sure why you get so worked up about this.
If they honestly had a commitment towards developing interest in the game of golf across the world, then they would simply mention that he plays on LIV with his all South American team, Torque GC - but they won’t do that.

For starters, there are 3 Amateurs from those countries that get to tee it up against some of the best golfers in the world this weekend

Other than being 1 of 4 Majors, how’s that?
They care about amateur golfers because of Bobby Jones? They invite like 6 amateurs including the champions from British Amateur, Asia-Pacific Amateur, Latin America Amateur, US Mid-Am, & NCAA champ.
They didn’t even allow women to be members at AGNC until 10 years ago & they started hosting the ANWA 5 years ago.

You realize this includes people like Joaquin Niemann and Hideki Matsuyama as winners? The Masters also attempts to always put international players in featured groups (they put Haotong Li in Tiger’s group once) and they give special exemptions to players that aren’t from the US.

This whole “grow the game” discussion started from you questioning how a star like Niemann playing in countries like Oman & Saudi Arabia will help grow the game *in those countries*.
I stated that him & his team going to play in events like that is doing more than the PGA/AGNC are doing to grow the game *in those countries*.
& now we’re talking about The Masters growing the game with amateurs in Latin American & Asian-Pacific countries.
It’s completely hypocritical for The Masters to claim they care about “growing the game of golf across the world” - but then fail to mention anything at all about Niemann playing on LIV.
