How much do you think USA Group Stage Tickets will go for?

Super Bowl tix are like $8,000 for an event that only interests two fan bases to attend in person. Will the USA world cups on our own soil be just for the rich folk? I have a friend that works in the front office for an MLS team that says she is going to try and get me tickets to a game if she can. Fingers crossed.

FIFA sets the prices
They try to keep most the tickets as reasonable as possible and keeping sales directly through them and not Ticketmaster so you don’t get raped on fees(fingers crossed)
But with how the secondary market is in this country people will get taken to the cleaners on resale

I don't think tickets for USMNT matches are going to be THAT expensive considering the stadium sizes.
The Cotton Bowl couldn't sell out a Messi game last week. Sure, it was a friendly, but it was still Messi playing in a state that is filled with central Americans.

Resale for US v Bolivia in Arlington for the Copa are $400 give or take for upper bowl right now with fees and whatnot included, but don’t think they have released all of the tickets yet. Which could make prices go up if people are waiting to try to get face value and fail, or go down just because more availability.
I think cheapest secondary for US World Cup will be at least $1,000 but it wouldn’t shock me if it’s closer to $5,000. A lot of people are going to rightfully view it as a truly once in a lifetime opportunity. Unless the WC goes to every 2 years anyway there’s a decent chance most people over 30 will never have another opportunity to see us play in a home WC game.

For the final, yeah.
For group stages, I bet you will be able to land some for $300ish on the day of.

shite when did tix go on sale? I don't remember seeing anything from US Soccer, and last time I looked they weren't on sale yet.

Tickets aren’t on sale yet. Sites you’re looking at now are selling fake tickets.
Looks like end of February is when tickets actually go on sale. LINK

Actually, I was there and it was sold out. At least , that’s what I read. Lots of people just couldn’t make it. The Cotton Bowl is in the middle of some of the worst traffic in DFW. The game started during rush hour at 5pm. I mean, who schedules a game at the Cotton Bowl at 5pm on a Monday!? Also, it was raining and chilly.

They might not be fake tickets
But more ticket brokers who get access to them at already over priced and sell them for even more
So they are basically guaranteeing you a ticket before they even go on sale

Back in my day, sonny.....
In 1994, ticket packages were sold by venue. One had to get on a waiting list AND purchase said packages before the draw was ever known. We went to the Cotton Bowl. Saw some decent matches.
The only upside is that once in for the group stage matches and the one round of 16 match, I was then able to enter the lottery for the quarterfinal match which turned out to be Brazil vs. Netherlands and was one of the best World Cup matches ever played, all scoring after the 60th minute.
Yes, things change and online secondary markets are now a thing.

Does anyone know what to expect for non US games? Or can I assume that can vary greatly depending on who’s playing?

Probably a lottery system I would imagine. Secondary is gonna cost stacks
