Thought we were at 8 last week...

LINK

ETA: Wow, Billiot rose to #64 overall.
McKinley rose 13 spots to 18 overall
Reliford's Composite rose 34 spots to 231.
A lot of risers for us

Ok, my bad it's #5 for 247 only, Composite is still 7. Espn bringing us down...

How instant impact can he be? Will he be in the mix next year?

Based on what I have read, he is still pretty raw but has a ton of potential.

With Saban gone, no need to rank other teams players lower just to inflate his team.

Hopefully this will be the case, but I expect there to continue being some pandering to the Bama fan base. I wonder if something different would have been done with two 5 stars that left after Saban retired in terms of counting them in the recruiting class had it been a different program.

I see #9 overall?

That is taking in account transfers and recruits. LSU is #7 in the composite for recruiting on 247. #3 class using just on3 rankings.

Basically all of that adds up to LSU having a great class despite the embarrassing melts on here during early signing day. Just downright pathetic behavior on here by many.

#5 247 only class. I don't think 247 has updated their composite rankings.

The #9 includes transfers.

So No.3 on On3 and No. 5 on 247?

That should be all that matters to people. Rivals is a very distant third in quality and ESPN is not even a legitimate scouting site.

At one point ESPN Recruiting was just Tom Lemming's useless drivel put in ESPN format. Probably still the case.

But Notre Dame fans can’t celebrate being ahead of BK anymore in recruiting. They also can’t celebrate BK to Michigan. Sad day for the poor Irish folks.

This is a top 5 class.

3 at On3, 5 at 247, and ESPN is a joke. The only reason anyone talks about ESPN is because they broadcast games. Their rankings don’t matter.

And if things hold, next year is probably the #1 overall class.
