The nitrogen gas isn't untested. Some European country has been using it a while for assisted suicide.

Bullzhit.

People talk about adoption on this forum all the time.

Additionally, in terms of REAL charity (ie, WILLINGLY giving one's own money to others), EVERY demographic pales in comparison to white, Conservative males.

Besides, the REAL solution to this problem is one you Democrats don't want to hear: stop being an irresponsible hoe....

There SHOULD be a stigma surrounding women who treat their vaginas like clown-cars then expect someone to pay them for it.

I'm seeing reports that nitrogen method works like a charm.

Dude is very dead.

He dead

Process took about 22 minutes.
His spiritual advisor says he cranked his head forward multiple times, he didn't go unconscious in 30 seconds, but 'minutes of someone struggling to live', 'we saw spit we saw all sorts of stuff from his mouth on his mask, and him ripping his head forward over and over and over again...and corrections officers in the room visibly surprised at what happened.'

short statement from reporter that was a witness
He shook for about 2 minutes, shaking and writhing, following that there were several minutes of heavy breathing on the gurney, then a CO walked up to look at him, and later there was no breathing witnessed. Finally someone came in and pronounced him dead.

Guy murdered a preacher's wife in a murder for hire plot.

Start by teaching women that they should be married before letting a dude dump a load in the cooch. If you choose to have sex, you choose responsibility for the result.

Likely zero terror time. It was probably a hypoxic seizure, meaning he was unconscious. Very similar to the deaths of Bo Rein or Payne Stewart.

I wouldn't be surprised if he thrashed about because he was advised to do so by his anti-death penalty "pastor" or lawyers. There is precedent for this, there was a previous case of a person during his lethal injection saying, "it burns", before the lethal cocktail was even injected (which coincidentally was an argument his attorney's had made, that the injection might cause a painful burning sensation, and therefore cruel). It would have been best to have started with normal air flow into the mask, then transition discreetly to nitrogen.

What is the legality of trying (and failing) to execute someone? Although I'm very much in favor of DP, this is cruel and unusual punishment IMO

States will have different adjudications on this. Ohio has the last adjudication on this matter that I know about where they stated a second execution attempt after a botched attempt is a Cruel and Unusual Punishment. DPIC

The USSC opinions on the matter would prohibit . For instance, “‘a series of abortive attempts [at execution]’ unlike an ‘innocent misadventure,’ Barber v. Ivey (quoting Glossip v. Gross, et. al.)

Thus, a botched attempt doesn't per se make it cruel and unusual, its the nature of the botch. For Smith, there was an 8th Amendment issue with Alabama using another lethal injection due to the nature of their original botch. That is a reason they switched to Nitrogen gas. I thought I had read where Smith had two suits going on the 8th Amendment, namely

(1) That it was cruel and unusual based on the botch; and
(2) That Nitrogen gas hypoxia itself was cruel and unusual.

The recent USSC denial of stay related to the 2nd issue. USSC I haven't located or confirmed the suit that relates to the botch.

Alabama had a string of botched attempts. This DPICs site does a good job of itemizing botched attempts (which run at about 3% of all attempts)

Why don’t you mention the men who impregnate women, abandon their children and expect society to foot the bill?

Until those men are given equal rights in regards to those kids INCLUDING whether or not a pregnancy IS BROUGHT TO TERM AND THE CHILD IS ALLOWED TO LIVE, your screams of "my body my choice" ULTIMATELY make pregnancy the woman's responsibility.

Why don't you mention the women who open their legs and allow them to. It’s a double edged sword sister. Takes two to tango.

Except in cases of rape, women always have the final word as to whether or not sex occurs.

With HER consent.

Otherwise, that’s what’s known as rape.

The women are exclusively mentioned with absolute contempt every time anything related to pregnancy/abortion/social services are brought up. The women are mentioned plenty.

Those poor pitiful men just get taken advantage of left and right. Those poor pitiful men have no control over any aspect of their lives, right? That’s the narrative here, isn’t it?
