Would you want Eric Bieniemy for LSU OC?

I don't know if it would work for him, but Eric Bieniemy would be a slam-dunk OC if he could get him. He was excellent as KC's OC before he left for the Commanders.
His justification for leaving was that he wanted to show that he could be successful out of Andy Reid's shadow - he wants to be a HC and felt he had to leave the nest to see if he could fly.
With Rivera fired not sure where EB is going to go, but unless the Commanders make EB the head coach I'm guessing he's gone.
Going to the college game and making a name for himself there - possibly getting a CFBHC job as well after a while - would be a good option if he was open to it.
FWIW, everyone on KC's offense loved EB. He's an excellent coach, coordinator, and motivator. He could kill it on the recruiting trail if he went that direction.
It might be a dream, but getting Bieniemy as LSU's OC - even for just a few years - would be OUTSTANDING.
Please, Coach Kelly, make it so!

Frick it, why not just bring in Mcvay?

Hasn't he been pining for an NFL HC job? Trying to figure out why he would take an OC job in college if so.

I don’t understand the obsession with hiring NFL coaches to do a completely different job than they’re currently doing. Why would anyone go from being at the pinnacle of their sport where their only responsibility is to call plays and deal with other mature adults to being a college OC which is a coach, recruiter, and babysitter all rolled into one.
I’m sure Bieniemy would be chomping at the bit to come to the college game, work his arse off to sign a top QB prospect, then have the kid leave for a bigger bag at the last minute leading to his career getting screwed up and possibly fired because an 18 year old flaky kid left him high and dry without a QB which makes great playcallers look incompetent.
Good NFL coordinators can make millions until they’re 60 years old, and in case you haven’t noticed college coordinators aren’t long for their jobs in 99% of cases. Y’all need to give up on this dream

How about Harbaugh for OC since he's looking to leave Michigan?

Yes he has, but he obviously doesn't have "it" yet (whatever "it" is). He's been discussed as a HC candidate for years, but he's barely gotten even cursory Rooney-rule interviews.
That's why he took a lateral move to OC for a different team. If he doesn't get picked up as HC for the Commanders, I doubt anyone else will pick him up either (for whatever reason). So his choice will be to make another lateral move and continue with his hopes and prayers of getting a HC gig, or do something different to get more exposure.
Like I said in my OP: I have no idea if EB would be interested, but from my (admittedly biased and fan-based) perspective, I think it would be a good move for him if he were.
More than anything, I think his personality would be a perfect fit for the college game - especially when dealing with the NIL-infatuated knuckleheads that think there's an "I" in "team".
He had no problem dealing with 1st-string divas on the Chiefs offense, so I doubt he would have a problem with CFB kids. When he needed to, he got into it with players like Tyreek, Kareem Hunt and even Kelce.
The one thing about those times, though, was that EB was able to field a top-flight offense even when those knuckleheads were in his doghouse.
So, yeah, I'll admit I'm just dreaming out loud. But DAMN - if we could get him?

Andy Reid seems to be doing just fine without him. Maybe it wasn’t his expertise after all? Maybe Reid is the mastermind….and having one of the best QB in the game doesn’t hurt either.

The funny thing is that he dealt with similar issues in KC - players that thought they were bigger than the team. That's the advantage he would bring to the college game, and one that's obviously needed.
Given what he did in KC, with what he had to start with, I think he might be able to build an effective offense that could survive the flakiness of one or two divas.
But, again, it's just an opinion and thought. My guess is the Commanders will take a hard look at giving him a chance at HC and the question will be moot.

Difference between college and the NFL is that college players aren't under contract. So a pro has to get over himself if he wants to play for a team he signed a contract with and get paid. Meanwhile in college a disgruntled kid can kick rocks whenever he feels like.

Chiefs fans might not agree with you. While a few key offensive pieces from last year's SB team are gone, there's no talent-based excuse for them to have the problems they've had all season.
I, and most of my fellow Chiefs fans think a large part of the problem is making Matt Nagy OC. His style is completely different from EB, and honestly a lot of us don't think he's as good as Bieniemy.
While the Chief's defense has been STELLAR this year, the offense regressed from being at the pinnacle to being pedestrian. Yeah, they're "good enough" to win, but not the way most fans are accustomed to.
Personally, I'd love to see EB come back to KC and put Nagy back as the QB coach (his original position with the team). But I doubt that will ever happen.
The jury's still out on Nagy as OC, and next year will tell whether or not it was just an adjustment year for the new OC or whether it was EB perfectly executing Reid's vision that made them so good.
Just my opinion, yall.

I just don’t know about hiring NFL coaches and their desire to recruit.

Chiefs had a significantly worse passing game this year after Bieniemy left and Washington’s passing was much better.
