FWIW, everyone on KC's offense loved EB. He's an excellent coach, coordinator, and motivator. He could kill it on the recruiting trail if he went that direction.

Interesting take since it was known in back channels in the NFL that he interviewed terribly. As in, teams were falling over themselves to get him in because of his Andy Reid coaching tree pedigree, only to find him very underwhelming. To say he could recruit is a huge unknown at best.

getting Bieniemy as LSU's OC - even for just a few years - would be OUTSTANDING. Please, Coach Kelly, make it so!

Eric “Sleeping with Bieniemy” is waiting for an NFL head coaching position. NFL coaches aren’t coming to college in today’s Wild West headache of NIL and transfer portals. Just listen to interviews of college coaches that left for the NFL. It’s their dream to not have to play that wild game of the college world. Some of you people are just flat out delusional.

No!

He can go coach with that other clown at Colorado.

His justification for leaving was that he wanted to show that he could be successful out of Andy Reid's shadow

And he fell flat on his face. Washington’s offense was among the worst in the league, and playcalling was a big part of that

He seems stupid. I may have just seen a bad interview, I it's the only time I've seen him talk, but I was unimpressed.

I, and most of my fellow Chiefs fans think a large part of the problem is making Matt Nagy OC. His style is completely different from EB, and honestly a lot of us don't think he's as good as Bieniemy.
chiefs are going to the Super Bowl I don’t think they miss EB. If he was as good as people make him out to be and such a big part of the chiefs success more teams would be trying to hire him.

Last year Mahomes played in 17 regular season games (regular season being used with all), and Schuster was the only receiver out of the top 6 in yards to not play in all 17 games. Pacheco played in all 17 games.

This season Mahomes played in 16 games, and only one receiver in top 6 played in all 17 games and that was the backup TE. Kelce played in 15 instead of 17, Schuster played for New England (Rice took his place at #2 target after Kelce but is a rookie), and McKinnon, who was 4th in receiving yards last year while playing in 17 games, played in only 12 games this season. Pacheco only played in 14 games this season.

There is also being defending champs this season which can cause more complacency issues at times while also being more of a target. They also had the Taylor Swift distractions.

Washington had an entirely different QB this season who played in all 17 games versus retreads Weitz & Heinicki splitting season (Howell only playing in last game of 2022 season), had 3 additional games with Robinson playing, had 5 additional games with Dotson playing, had 2 additional games with Logan, and while they did average .5 more points a game they still averaged below 20 points per game, averaged 17 less total yards per game than last season, and went from a .500 team last season to a .235 team this season.

So nope.

Chiefs had a significantly worse passing game this year

This had way more to do with their lackluster wr corps than the OC. I don't think EB is interested in coaching college. He turned down the Colorado HC job. I am not sold on him being a great OC. Maybe he was a better motivator than Naggy, and that was some of the chiefs issues this year. I think LSU could do much better than EB.
