Logically, you shouldn’t trust someone’s whose primary allegiance is to a foreign country. I’m sure there are things that he likes about America, I don’t doubt that, but he wants a strong America to protect Israel. That means he will make choices and support policies which may not be good for us in other ways.

The man is about as fiscally and socially conservative as they come. The MAGA wing of the party just dislike him because he doesn't worship at the altar of MAGA and will call out Trump on his bullshite when he sees it. However, the man voted for him twice and will vote for him again this November.

I check out all of his Youtubes and watch about half of them. It depends on topic.
He is amazing speaking to college audiences with Q and A.
It's easy to destroy left wing moron students but he does it so politely.

That's his claim to fame, a way to embed as a "conservative" influencer. He's a little neocon, just like another little frick Mark Levin.

Nonsnese, we dislike him cause he's a neocon shill, just like Mark Levin. Two peas in a pod.

He wants to use Americas power and wealth to benefit a foreign country that he has ethno religious ties to.

That’s a hostile act.

Apparently funding Ukriane to the tune of 150 billion and funding their government and pensions is "fiscally conservative" and propagating war in Europe.

Oh, and also giving billions to Israel on an annual basis.

I don't like him because he is basically never-Trump light and not MAGA. I don't care about his Israeli views. As a Christian, I tend to be staunchly pro-Israel.

"Shapiro" has to be Yiddish for "scumbag".

The tendency in never-Trumpers is that they also often happen to be fervent neocon shills, which is exactly what Shapiro is and that's the primary reason I can't stand the little snake.

He's been selling funding Ukraine low-key since day 1. And obviously he wants to fund Israel, that's a given.

McConnell
Romey
Haley
Christie
Cheney
Schumer
Pelosi
Bushes
Clintons

The list is extensive.

You call him a snake and then you post a picture of a Jewish man speaking to a group of Jewish men. What am I missing here? Please make the connection for me.

So wanting there to be peace in Ukraine with both sides being granted concessions is considered "neocon" in 2024?

From your link:

quote:

But we are now stuck in this weird binary strawman situation in which we are told that either we must fund Ukraine "until they win, as long as it takes," without defining winning or "as long as it takes"; or "we must stop the war in Ukraine" without defining what "stopping" looks like (does it mean withdrawing all aid, thus leading Russia to take Kyiv?).

What about the position that we have interests in Ukraine, that they do not match the Ukrainian interests entirely, and that we should fund Ukraine so as to prevent their takeover while pushing for a peace agreement that cedes certain territory to the Russians while granting security guarantees to the Ukrainians?

It' not from "My link". It's from Shapiro's Twitter.

Highlighted an obvious neocon part for you. FUND UKRAINE. Such fiscal conservativism.

Go the frick back to OT thread where you blow the other Ukrosimps. I can already tell you chirp in there.

The guy hasn’t been asking the US to really do anything in Israel. It just seems like he argues that Israel should be able to defend itself however they see fit. Seems really reasonable seeing that he has family and friends that live there.

So is it your opinion that Ronald Reagan was a neoconservative when he funded and trained the Mujahideen in Afghanistan during the Soviet-Afghan War? Was he also a neoconservative for taking action against governments we didn't like in Central and South America?

I think Israel is a stabilizing force in the middle east. They're the next best thing to us sending troops over there and occupying an area.

Duh.And look how that beautifully blew up in America's face. Reagan got a pass for neocon stunts because there was Cold War and a "big bad red scare" still up in the air. But after that turned out to be but a fear mongering campaing, they had to get creative.

I'm sorry if I come of as disssive of you, but I dont' think foreign policy is your forte. A lot of people like you have a decent grip on what's good and bad domestically, but when it comes to foreign policy it's squirrel world and this is where neocon filth really takes advantage of simple-minded good people.

I don't know about that.

He's a good bit more conservative than most of the populists here.

Of course this is the correct answer.
