I was never a hardcore DeSantis guy, but I would have preferred him to Trump. As I posted on here before, I’ll pull the lever for Trump over the commies like I did in 2016 and 2020. 
Plus, although I’m sure Trump will be the same ineffectual President he was before, he will make the next four years comedy gold.

Democrats deserve to lose, and to lose so big it sends an unequivocal message that resonates through the ages — never again.
They are censuring a presidential candidate to save democracy.
They are showing you who they really are.
Saving Democracy includes censorship, along with throwing your political opponents in jail and removing them from the ballot, not to mention persecuting political protesters for thought crimes and using the legacy media as your own personal propaganda delivery device. Are we sure this isn’t Putin’s Russia?

Not a Desantis supporter, especially not a "hardcore" one, so I'm a neutral observer.
When you go scorched earth relying on irrational arguments and emotional triggers to win, you will face consequences. Not only did the Trump establishment do this against RDS (which is OK), they made it personal for the supporters (which is where you're going to have problems).
Trump should have learned this lesson after how this same strategy neutered his policy power while in office the first time.
