What's everyone's go to for king cakes in the Baton Rouge area?

Everyone likes different ones. I pretty much like all King Cakes. LOL
Gambino's, Calandro's, Reeves, Rouse's all make good ones. Oak Point is good for turtle and other non traditional King Cake varieties.

I've heard Calandro's/Gambino's/Oak Point are the top 3 (if you consider Oak Point BR in this case)
Some places out in LP are selling Dong Phuong cakes

Eloise Market on Lee. By far the best king cake I've bought in BR. And decently priced compared to the Randazzos, etc. that are shipped into grocery stores.
If you want one of the NOLA Bakery King Cakes, Martin's Wine Cellar usually has a variety.

I second Ralph's Market. They're sneaky good.

Robert’s on Highland. I like Calandros too, but they are weirdly flat/thin.

After reading someone else’s post on this site I purchased a praline king cake from Rouses. Damn good!

Oak point probably best on taste and variety.

It’s a drive, but Navarre’s in Springfield is a damn fine king cake

Earnie cranks out some great King Cakes. Try the Pecan Praline.

I adore the Party Palace cream cheese king cakes. You can find them at Calvin’s bocage. Perfect dough, great icing and nice amount of filling.
