That’s a fair statement.

A lot of the moves he's made this election cycle point to the contrary.
I mean intelligent to the point where he’s socially awkward, naive and possibly lacking common sense. Like Sheldon Cooper, only not at that level of severity. Heavy on the book smarts. Lacking a bit on the street ones.

No, he's a two face MAGA copycat like Ted Cruz that I wouldn't trust with a national agenda. He told Florida voters he's running for Governor for 4 years and left to get embarrassed in Iowa for like a year. What the hell is that?
He was a Congressman for 5 years before his governor ron, and it was GOPestabilshment voter through and through. All this culture warrior/MAGA stunt is an act.

Just wish the rest of the party would back one person. Vivek & Ron have no chance here we are arguing.

I'm aware that you prefer the celebrity over Cruz or DeSantis
Being bought by a few tweets and a Kid Rock appearance or two is why many of us think the core MAGA crew will be useless to conservatism/the country moving forward.

His record is as one of the most conservative senators of the time.

Voting for TPP was "conservative". Okay, little doggie. Do some more Wraff wraff.
End of the day he lost, disgraced himself, and lost great chance of being shoe-in for 2028 cause he blew his cover.
Dumb.

Delete this alter and try again. You’re a moron. At least the last alter was entertaining in his blatant racism.

Ron depended on advisors when he didn't need to and they were bad advisors.

You're not coping well with loss.
What matters is his voting record with Mitch McConnel, loudmouth.
Who are you going to vote for in General?

You don’t have a clue what his voting record was. You’re just another run of the mill tard piggy backing on what you read on Truth.

It's bizarre people say this. I once heard an anecdote from someone who knew a republican Congressman who shared a committee with him and sat next to him. He said DeSantis never said a word to him the entire legislative session. Was probably the best endorsement I ever heard. It's not really a secret he's not really well liked on Capitol Hill, nor did he do much to curry favor with the party leadership there. Some of the people who do seem to like him are reliably conservative congressmen like Thomas Massie and Chip Roy.
You have to go reaching back to fricking TPP, haha. Something Trump wants to revisit. And the MAGA cult wants to hand-wave away something like Trump's disastrous handling of COVID.
Obviously though you've made your mind up because you have your narrative. I'm sure you were pro-Disney and pro childporn in FL school libraries just because Ron came out against the filth crowd.

Melt some more, loser.
2015: DeSantis Effectively Voted Against Treating Currency Undervaluation As An Illegal Subsidy. In December 2015, DeSantis effectively voted against legislation that would have “allow[ed] climate change and human trafficking provisions in trade deals, and that would insist on the currency manipulation provisions included in the Senate amendments, defining currency undervaluation as an illegal subsidy and thereby making it subject to duty laws.” The underlying legislation was a conference report that would was a trade enforcement and customs bill. The vote was on a motion to recommit. The House rejected the motion by a vote of 172 to 239. [House Vote 692, 12/11/15; Congressional Quarterly, 12/11/15; Congressional Quarterly, 12/10/15; Congressional Actions, H.R. 644]
Senate Legislation Included A Currency Manipulation Provision From Sen. Schumer (D-NY), Which Would Potentially Impact China. According to Congressional Quarterly, “The Schumer provision amends the Tariff Act of 1930 to treat currency undervaluation as a direct or indirect export subsidy subject to countervailing or import duties if the Commerce Department finds subsidized imports are causing harm to U.S. companies. If Schumer’s provision becomes law, it would affect countries beyond those now engaged in talks for the Trans-Pacific Partnership pact. China, often cited as an active currency manipulator by those who follow trade, would face scrutiny under the provision if it becomes law.” [Congressional Quarterly, 5/14/15]
2015: Trump: China Is “The Number-One Abuser Of This Country,” And “It’s Through Currency Manipulation.” According to Trump at the November 10, 2015, Republican presidential debate, “TRUMP: Yes. Well, the currency manipulation they don’t discuss in the agreement, which is a disaster. If you look at the way China and India and almost everybody takes advantage of the United States -- China in particular, because they’re so good. It’s the number-one abuser of this country. And if you look at the way they take advantage, it’s through currency manipulation. It’s not even discussed in the almost 6,000-page agreement. It’s not even discussed.” [Washington Post, 11/10/15]
DeSantis Said He Opposed Tariffs
[Video] DeSantis: “I’m Not Somebody That Advocates Tariffs.” According to Ron DeSantis on Fox Business, “DESANTIS: Well, I think in the Congress, you know, I’m not somebody that advocates tariffs. I mean, I want to have lower barriers and I want to have free trade.” [Fox, 6/25/18]
