Vivek was an unknown over a year ago, but has played the game perfectly. On the other hand Ron was supposed to be the seasoned vet, but he makes misstep after misstep. Ron could learn from Vivek.

One is a policy guy with a strong record who is boxed in by that

One has no record and no accomplishments and can say whatever slots him into the electoral niche he'd like to be in

Vivek is very talented. Vivek has also never done anything for American families or conservatism.

In Ron’s defense he’s far, far away from a seasoned campaigner and everything that goes with that. He’s way too fricking introverted , awkward, and almost too intelligent for his own good. He seems damn good at getting shite done once in office, hence how easily he was reelected. There’s just something about the pageantry of running for office that seems amiss.

A record for supporting TPP, for being shaky on interventionalism.

Also a record of sucking up to Trump only to try and derail him. Then the Bootgate disgrace to be followed by it all, looking around the room for consensus.

He's got the Jeb problem for sure.

Bc Ron was persuaded by the money. He wavered on his convictions and submitted to his new deep state handlers.

Watch him just 2-3 yrs ago and compare to now. Doesn’t even seem like the same man.

Vivek also didn’t abandon people he swore to serve so he can advance his political career. Him not doing that would have done more to advance it.

So 80% of your policy disagreements are "he doesn't bow to Trump enough for me"

I assume you mean abandoning Trump and your fellow worshippers and not the state of Florida, correct?

A lot of the moves he's made this election cycle point to the contrary.

He's a Trump copycat. He rebranded himself in 2015 when JEB/Romney/Ryan rino wing of the party dried out, but he is essentially the same stiff as that group. "Intellectual neoconservative". The MAGA pandering was but an act, same as with Ted Cruz, same as with Little Marco etc...

He didn't want to go out like Adam Kinzinger or Liz Cheney.

Looks to me that you failed to comprehend the response.

We have too many dim-witted people in the party to hope for anything better.

The tisms have taken over.

You should probably shut up about politics. You don’t know anything.

DeSantis was on my radar going back to 2015. The fact that you didn’t know he existed before Trump is the fricking problem.
