Well thats disappointing. Was hoping for Karl Scott. I soured on Raymond in his previous tenure and he wasn't great at Florida. Meh.

Again, Raymond was not as bad as some of you have made him out to be. The systems were mediocre and he was split up, be here is his history of Picks he fully coached or coached initially. This doesn't count guys from his first year or two that Ron Cooper coached.

2015: Jalen Collins (2nd round)
2016: Rashard Robinson (4th), Jalen Mills (7th round)
2017: Jamaal Adams (top 6), Tre White (1st)
2018: Donte Jackson (2nd)
2019: Greedy Williams (2nd)
2020: Kristian Fulton (2nd)
2022: Stingley (Top 3), Flott (3rd)

In his last few years, focused solely on CBs, and that doesn't necessarily help the DBs as unit sometimes, and much of the issues his last years were also in the safeties coached by Busch.

As for recruiting, I don't blame him as much in the latter years when it was clear O was destroying the program and players aren't stupid and we didn't lose them to bad programs. Most were to solid programs.

Finally, I don't think you can count his UF stint against him that much seeing as Napier is an awful fit there and the whole program has become a joke.

I think he will do great, and now he may have the expectation of DC position promotions out of his system.

Apparently Kelly's network of talented DB coaches doesn't run too deep.

Hope Corey comes back with renewed vigor and seals the deal with Antoine for the good guys.

I'm hopeful he redeveloped his desire to succeed.

At least we can get some good corners

The Raymond hire is very underwhelming.
