Why didn't the Mexican authorities help them?
They were losing their shite on MSN about this this morning... Blaming Abbott and Texas..

You mean
quote:
3 migrants drowned trying to reach the US illegally

So, if border patrol couldn't get near the river, how would they know somebody was drowning?
Posted on 1/14/24 at 11:56 am to Taketts
It’s sad that happened but maybe they shouldn’t have tried illegally entering a country by swimming a river

Please, the only woman and children to cross out of 11 million? BS story looking for the sheeps compassion.

I applaud any man or woman who goes into a river to save someone. That being said, our border patrol agents should not have to put their lives at risk for someone from another country illegally entering our country.
As much as I admire the heroes who save others, I don’t have any problem with border patrol not entering the water.

Only 3? Should have been a dozen then

Don’t break the law and you’d be alive

Ok, and……anyway

All the pics we ever seem to see are thousands upon thousands of military aged males but now because of evil Texas blocking the benevolent Biden administration we get a drowned female and 2 kids.
Maybe it happened …but I’m skeptical and definitely skeptical at the convenient timing of this story.

And?
Posted on 1/14/24 at 12:45 pm to Taketts
Of course a mother and two children. Such a perfect narrative and headline.

Border patrol does not have boats.
They can get in the river and patrol it.
Blocking land access does not stop border patrol and US Coast Guard from patrolling US waters.

No, they didn’t.

Here is an NPR article from 2022 saying that drownings in the Rio Grande are common. In fact there are “dozens” a month:
Newsflash. Crossing the Rio Grande is dangerous.

The fire department helps recover the bodies of migrants who drowned trying to cross. Mello says the department used to get one or two calls a month. Now it gets dozens. NPR

Tough shot, they could have stayed at home!
Posted on 1/14/24 at 1:04 pm to Taketts
Is this a bs story just like when the media said border control whipped some illegal aliens?
