Maybe.

But I’d still like some pics to make the final call

Solution would be to get better and quit complaining. But in today's world people would rather bitch and moan then wonder why participation trophies exist. Because of women like that.

Her point was that the classic is considered the true state championship here. No divisions, just every kid in each weight class going at it. Everybody against everybody. If they want big teams from out of state here, then let's create a national tournament to help grow the sport here. I'm in College Station right now where my kids are wrestling in the Texas Nationals. Let's make a tournament like this in Louisiana. It'll help everyone, from Tots all the way through high schoolers.

I do understand her point from that aspect, but the Lee Invitational/Louisiana Classic is the perfect venue/tournament to turn into a regional monster tournament.

So Clementi got whooped and his momma mad?

Please tell me she used Momma Bear somewhere in a follow up response.

Looks like the kid Clementi lost to is highly ranked. Battles like that are only going to make Clementi better.
I can’t imagine Rich feels the same way his wife does.

I agree. And I'm all for it. Anything to help grow the sport here.

Check out what she once wrote.

quote:

TIS THE SEASON TO START WRESTLING ?????

Why do I love ?? wrestling?

REGARDLESS how brutal life can be or how bad it beats you up, you can’t just GIVE UP! I believe the sport of wrestling prepares kids to fight the game of life.

BUT HOW??? It teaches them to dig deep and overcome the feeling of PERSONAL defeat in ways that other sports simply can’t. I’ve witnessed wrestlers lose every match but find the courage to step back out on that mat and continue to try. They come FACE TO FACE with another person of equal size & battle on their own with no one or nothing to blame for their mistakes. They are driven from within to show up, work hard, and give 100% effort every match win or lose. Over time the obstacles they’ve overcome give them a sense of confidence that radiates in the most positive ways.

As a wrestling mom I’m convinced my boys are better people because of this sport and I’m thankful for the continued lessons it gives them that can’t be taught by anything or anyone. #wrestling

I liked the part where she claimed none of the California team even really goes to that school

No it’s not viewed like a state title. If you want to win without facing the best you are a pussy and should play soccer or something. Gtfo with this crap. How about you beat them? Ritchie got owned and he asked for the blowback bc of his mouth

The rumor was that they all moved to giltoy just to wrestle for DC. Shocking I tell you. If even true. It’s California. Who do these kids expect to wrestle in college? It’s silly. Don’t enter the tourney. Preserve your fake record

From what I understand, the only reason Gilroy was there was because Catholic knew they had no shot to win so their coach invited Gilroy to make sure Jesuit wouldn't take the title.

1. It's NOT the LHSAA classic - it's the LOUISIANA classic.

2. They still have the state tournament.

3. Mom should educate herself on the actual facts.

If they were in a podunk tournament this would be one thing, but we should expect the best we have at Jesuit, BM, and HC to compete with anybody anywhere.

Yeah, not even close... The state champions in LA look like just regular competitors in big wrestling states...

Tyson Roach from Sam Houston is a top 5 wrestler in the state and he was teched by the Gilroy kid 20-5. Richie Clementi lost by decision 6-3. However, probably the best wrestler in the state at Teurlings, Alex Rozas beat the Gilroy kid at 120 7-0 in the semis.

To be the best, you have to beat the best, The best heavyweight in the state, Langosa from Jesuit, lost 5-0 by decision.

Unfortunately, Louisiana is a football state, and doesn't show much attention to wrestling.

Not even close...

Besides Catholic sucks in wrestling... They finished 9th...

I wouldn't call losing by three getting whooped, and Clementi is a Jr.

upvote/plus 1.

mothers need to stay the eff out of anything competitive. theyre involuntarily self-centered about life in general.
richie clementi will live to fight another day and he knows he's better for the loss.
