There is more to being a parent than just DNA...I raised kids I didn't give DNA to....ever hear of adoption? Sounds like money is the most important part of parenting to you... and you sound like a really shitty candidate for being a parent.

There is a huge difference in choosing to adopt a child vs. your wife cheating on you and you unknowingly raising a child that is not yours.

You really can't see the difference ?

It's like the difference between me choosing to give someone money vs them robbing me.

but it’s ok if a husband fathers a child with another woman that’s not his wife?

When I worked at a grocery
Store in the early 2000’s the produce manager was s black dude and was having an affair with this married white chick and she got pregnant and they were both sweating bullets when baby was born. They got lucky… but he did end up getting a chick pregnant and got totally screwed by dna.

Why are you changing the subject ?
Who said that was ok ?
Wives shouldn't sleep with men that they are not married to.
Wives that get knocked up by men who are not their husbands should not lie to their husbands about the child being his just to secure the bag.
It's evil

I can't speak to other states, but in Louisiana, the husband is presumed to be the father whether he signs anything or not.

It's a 'rebuttable presumption' in that if the husband shows the court that he truly did not father the child then he will not have responsibly of being the father. There's a time limit to do this, don't know what that is.

You have zero qualification to give advice on marriage, children, or parenting. Sit down and shut the hell up.

People are actually equating someone adopting a child and choosing to raise a child that they know is not theirs, to a wife cheating and then committing paternity fraud by having her husband unknowingly raise a child that she knows is not his.

It's like talking to the wall

It's not my area of the law, but trying to reach back to law school, I want to say it's a year. After that, it gets complicated.
