Recruits get 30 day window to reevaluate their commitment. This could work out well for LSU especially to shore up that defense. What a difference a day makes!

If you think that Lane Kiffin wouldn’t leave Ole Piss for Alabama then you are fricking stupid. If Alabama offers him the job he’s taking it lol some of you are retarded

That’s obvious, but he’s definitely not on the top of their list… much more likely they get one of their first top targets before they would even get to the point to offer Kiffin.

I’d imagine he’s #2 on their list behind Lanning

Lanning will take it though

It has everything to do with it.

Saban retires and Harbaugh leaves. Two major schools have vacancies and their players are available

Hypotheticals

Lanning or Kiffin goes to Bama. Now Oregon or Ole Miss opens a 30 day window.

Then other coaches fill those spots, so on and so forth

Yea I think Lanning won’t turn this job down. And I could definitely see Kiffin bolting to Oregon

This is good. Please tell me the list of coaches they’d offer before Kiffin? Sark? Maybe but pulling him from Texas will be hard. Dabo? He has fallen off in recent years. Who else? Maybe Urban, but good luck with that. My point is he’s definitely up there. And if they offer him he’ll be in Tuscaloosa before you can say hotty toddy

Why do you say that? He coached there. They know him. And he’s doing a fantastic job at Ole Miss. I’d strongly consider him.

You’re missing the point. Are you that naive not to believe that Alabama or even Saban himself has not made calls to coaches he thinks would be the next coach or should be the next coach? The Alabama AD and Saban have been discussing this for weeks. If Lane was even remotely knowledgeable of the potential, do you honestly think he would be working as hard as he is in the portal to load up Ole Miss?

You didn’t read between my lines. Lane is not a candidate for Bamas next coach. Sorry

Every single coach will have reservations on coming after the greatest coach of all time. It will take someone with the oversized ego of Kiffin to actually accept the job, and he would.

Probably right. But Alabama folks think they can get anyone. Would be great if they took some big swings and missed on the first couple.

About 3-4 weeks ago someone posted on the coaching change board that Saban was retiring after the season.

He was shot down and laughed at, but he said Saban is tired and ready to enjoy his lake house. He is tired of NIL and the portal.

It’s tougher than one might think.
Eugene is a heck of a lot nicer than Tuscaloosa (especially if he has a family).
Plus, Oregon has a lot of resources and is moving to the other premiere conference.
Plus, there’s the part about replacing the most successful Coach of the past 40 years.

Very few HC with any positive momentum would leave where they’re at to fill the tGOAT shoes.
