DEI: How can it be dismantled?

The whole DEI situation (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) has got me rattled. I recently witnessed it first-hand through personal experience... how it goes unchallenged and is now embraced as mainstream. It's breathtaking how mediocrity and complacency have infected so many important systems in the country. How can such a destructive program be permitted to thrive in circumstances where "Excellence" is a vital element?
How did this mess start in the first place? Can the genie be put back in the bottle? It's a social cancer. Does anyone have the guts to dismantle it?

• “The rot is everywhere, touching everything, a miasma of mandatory make-believe that has choked off the oxygen of rational inquiry.”
• "When everything is potentially offensive, all communication must be as indirect as possible, and the result is that clear communication using direct and precise language becomes impossible."
• "Academic discourse, characterized by impenetrable jargon at the best of times, has become a submarine mine field of accepted nomenclatures continuously evolving into deeply offensive expressions of various isms and phobias under the savage selective pressure of the rabid status games played by academics desperately scrambling after the small and shrinking number of jobs. Self-censorship, as everyone knows, has become pervasive - in an environment where yesterday's mandatory vocabulary is today's cancellable hate speech, the only safe expression is to say nothing."
• “Naturally the narrative is always false; it is precisely because it is false that it forbids even the discussion of alternatives, a taboo that expresses itself in the deplatforming or cancellation of deviants who dare "deny" the sacred narrative, or even to raise the most timid of questions about some minor aspect of it.”

There’s actually much that had already happened and much going currently to eradicate this poison and obvious illegal fake industry from our society. You can look up some court challenges by a guy named Edward Blum he’s the guy leading the charge on this on the legal from. He has also done something smart in filing like over 350 complaints with EOC which circumvents the courts and kinda forces a response.
In terms of politics many states have outright began gutting this industry especially anywhere that receives federal or state fund colleges being a big one.
With how shite the economy is getting guess who the first ones cut by all these faux virtue signaling sociopathic ceos and companies are? Shocker it’s the DEI constant problem employees whose literally purpose is to cause problems.
Just google something akin to “is the DEI industry dying” you can find what seems like endless op Ed’s of fake job grifters crying and melting because they’ll have to put their high school education to work for minimum wage

The “systemic racism” democrats talk about is real. The people who control the systems (media, academia, industry, government) are mostly all democrats and have largely been the culprits of racism in our past. Their solution to past racism is current and future racism. Meritocracy is the only thing that can solve this problem but unfortunately democrats have their head really, really far up their arse.

There are two ways to destroy Leftist ideals: Violence ( I do not advocate) or using their ideals against them.
That's it, nothing else works against their particular brand of Fascism.

Well Larry Fink at Blackrock just announced he was laying off 600 yesterday with the vast majority of those in the DEI space since they lost $1 trillion in ESG investments.
I would say the experiment is now officially over.

The problem is that most people under 45 or so have been mentally conditioned to believe in systemic racism.
That’s the real engine that makes DEI go.
You can’t stop it without dismantling the programming behind it.

When this panhandling slacker wrote a book back in the 1860s and got the soys excited for generations.

This is like saying people have been conditioned to believe in gravity.

No, gravity is real, "systemic racism" as defined by you Liberal loons is complete fantasy.

Don’t worry. She can’t define it.

quote:Pretty smart. In my experience, when they're confronted with a rational unanswered question that forces them to revert to conventional wisdom (thereby exposing the counterintuitive nature of DEI), they simply run and hide, never to be heard from again. This happened numerous times. How they process information is something to behold.

At the governmental level, it needs to be legislated or executive ordered out.
At the private level, I think a few class action lawsuits against a couple Fortune 500 based on Title VII both direct discrimination in employment and/or hostile work environments should cure it

DEI, woke, crt, equity agenda et al....I will defund all of it. Every item in every aspect of the federal budget will be cut, if it pertains to any of this stuff. This is an area where it's best to defund, pull back all funds, and fire the people, rather than retire them.
Human Resources is a real battle ground on this - must write a policy that says merit is how things will be handled.
At the federal level you need an Executive that will write the policies on merit, which is very easy to do, and defund this woke garbage. We have federal agencies like the EPA talking about 'climate equity' and similar nonsense. It's absurd.
Also, there will have to be wholesale dismissals in places like the DOJ Civil Rights Division.
Another thing to do is look at FIRE's scoring of universities with regard to free speech. Schools that score low get cut off from funding. Free speech and the free interchange of ideas is critical to knowledge, which is the whole point of sending tax dollars to schools. If they are going to undercut that purpose, then no money should be sent.

HR departments have already shifted their language to avoid the DEI prohibitions.
It’s a constant race to kill Marxism before it kills the country.

What would you call the FHA and HUD policy manuals that explicitly prohibited mortgages to black people? These prohibitions weren’t based on credit or anything else. Skin color was the only criteria that disqualified them from obtaining a mortgage. What is that called, if not systemic racism?

This is only happening in the states that blue states or reds states that just haven’t finished getting their legislation through yet (almost all red states have some form of this in place or in the works).
It’s a bit more murky if you mean HR in the private sector as that will likely come down all at once via court ruling but public funding for this farce is gone in states with morals and balls and there’s not getting around it
