Post cassette tapes that you had and loved

Had these a Long time ago but I can remember particular moments of listening to this music on a cassette tape

I had hundreds in the 80s that ran the gamut of still love to cant believe I ever liked that... 
I honestly cant remember what I did with all my old cassettes..
I still have two in my possession... and I still love them both, though I have no way to listen to them currently..
For some reason I still have this one, though not some of my other early punk cassettes..
This is from a nostalgic era of college and I genuinely like these songs.. though the recording is pretty shite... No clue what happened to the cover, but I'm guessing its why I stopped letting friends borrow music back in the day..

It's the nostalgia in me but the first tape I ever purchased after installing my sanyo and Jensen 6x9 triax speakers in my 76 Monte Carlo was Styx - Mr Roboto so the quality of that recording can be questioned but the feelings I have playing it in 2024 remain...and that includes every track.

There’re 100’s of Dead/Radiators and other bootlegs residing in my basement. Yes, I listen to them daily.

I had numerous cassettes. When the Sony Walkman came out, that's all I bought at the time. Mostly hair bands and some older stuff.

Digital on demand music is what killed creativity in music. Music in General went from being an art to a factory process.
Sure you can still find great music especially on the festival circuit but the artistry and beauty in the entire art is largely dead to society and replaced with a garbage replication without a soul.

Had many of course. But this was one I really remember because it was one of the last tape single releases I remember before CD really started to take off.

Tapes ahhh that brings back memories, I didn't buy tapes but would buy vinyl and then copy to cassette or usually make mix tapes. When digital came along i made mix cds as well ....

i cant post pics from my work computer, but Garth Brooks - Ropin' the Wind was the first "secular" (non-Christian) album my parents let me buy when I was in sixth grade. I played the absolute hell out of that cassette in my Walkman. Still has great replay-ability for me. Say what you will about where Garth Brooks' career meandered to in his later career, those first few albums were absolutely awesome. Everything up through Fresh Horses I still love.

My first two were Led Zeppelin II and Steppenwolf Live.
I did the same just no mix tapes. Copied the album to cassette and reel to reel using Maxell UD XL 1 tapes. They sounded better than any pre-recorded cassette I heard.
I still have them but some are pretty worn from use. They sound decent on my Nakamichi ZX-7 deck. My sons couldn't tell the difference between source and tape when we were playing around with NOS Maxell tape on my system a few months ago.
