Yes, and did so in a way to stop us from recruiting other guys in a plan that was orchestrated by the best and worst coaches in Ole Miss history, Lane Kiffin and Ed Orgeron.

can he coach defense? yep and he was awesome at McNeese as head coach. proved to be very good this year at Maimi
can he recruit? yep always been a good recruiter
can he relate to the HS coaches and is he liked by them...absolutely

i would prefer Jim Leahnards but Lance is a really good coach.

This is his first year as a P5 coach. Recruiting in the SEC is a little different than recruiting at McNeese.

I don't care about the personal little dick feelings of fans here. That's a damn good coach that knows Louisiana well. Had a top 6 defense at Marshall and then put Miami at 44 his first year there. DB coach and worked with Chevis Jackson.

One of my best friends for 52 years. On of the best motivators in football. A very passionate guy. God fearing man that every kid he has coached will say nothing but good things about him. With LSU’s talent he would be great. He has greatly improved defenses everywhere he went! But he doesn’t get the same pass as Frank and CEO does for doing the same $hit over a decade ago.
