The dude obviously has a skill set that no other backs have. He reminds me of Kevin Faulk and Cecil Collins. Why only two touches all game?

Could just be a rotational oversight, but having watched football for a long time, if a RB that clearly looks like they should be getting touches isn't getting touches, they either have a fumbling problem or they have issues in pass protection.
Kid's clearly talented though, so I hope whatever the reason, we see a lot more of him next season.

My thoughts exactly. Dude needs more touches.
My guess is he’s deficient in something. Maybe he doesn’t know the playbook well enough, or he fumbles a lot in practice, or he can’t block worth a crap.
But he’s very good at running the ball! Fast, powerful, good vision, cuts well and fast. He’s exciting to watch!

Carries were definitely designed to go to the seniors. Just part of the game plan for a bowl game.

Josh Williams is elite at chip blocking in the pass game. Jackson needs to learn that part of the game.

Watch Josh Williams in pass protection.

Yep… been saying this all year. Could have brought a physicality to our offense that we don’t have in the run game. I don’t care if he can chip block, don’t put him in to chip, add an extra TE, use a physical WR, just find a way.
Being too picky about what your players can and can’t do is exactly how you waste players skills in what they can do at an elite level. He’s a darn old school LSU running back so let him touch the ball. We going to need him next season. I’d feature him and some of the others coming in. When he’s a junior, those freshman backs will be exactly what he is so we need to get the offense prepared for that style of play.
We can do both spread and PA from under center with these backs and this OL. I hope we see more of it next season. A pistol formation or something. The OL needs to be more physical in the run game as well so I hope this is a focus in the off season.

He looked electric, but he has a ways to go before we can compare him to Faulk and the Diesel.

He wasn't getting in because of pass protection and seniority.
Williams is one of, if not the best, pass blocking RBs in the country. He will get drafted based solely on that. This was Nuss's first game and Wisconsin is strong up front. You needed that pocket clean when a new QB is in the game.
Look at the touches Cain got. He's gone after this game so Kelly was trying to let him go out with some runs because he's been a damn good teammate.
