That is a fair position, IMO.

Child abuse. We are talking about child abuse. If a state government can’t enact and enforce common sense laws to protect children then that’s a government that doesn’t deserve to exist.

Hahaha, every state regulates medicine.

They should say they won't honor the state licensing board if it doesn't reject licenses for members that engage in this abuse.

I assume he would repeal alcohol laws and driving age laws too, since parents know better than the state government

Ohio law states it is legal for a physician in the normal course of their practice, for religious reasons, and for a parent to buy or provide alcohol to a minor. It's also legal for a spouse who is of age to buy alcohol for their husband or wife who isn't of age.

This is interesting. A bit of a dichotomy.

He’s advocating for zero government involvement/regulation - which is a traditionally conservative approach. So I get it.

Should conservatives use the state to protect retarded libs from themselves????

Personally - I favor natural selection.

You could argue this is legislating
morality. That’s characteristic of progressives.

I strongly support vote to override the Governor’s veto of HB 68. House Republicans have the necessary votes to override in the House.

We should do it at our first session in January. We must protect minors from permanent, life-altering surgeries & defend women’s sports.

FRICK YOU MIKE DERINO

Dude, you have daughters and granddaughters. What are you thinking?

I'm a parent and it's best that the swinging dicks be kept out of girls' locker rooms. Why aren't my parental rights respected?

Why are young female relatives being put in danger with mentally ill biological males disrobing around a sports team?

Then the state shouldn’t stop a doctor from giving an underdeveloped young boy testosterone treatment or a flat chested 15 year old girl some big ole plastic tiddeez. What’s the difference?

Unfortunately, there is little that government cannot screw up when given the ability to intrude. Hermaphroditic care could be an example in this instance.

State funding (defunding) of institutions, political publicity as with abortion clinics, and impact through the educational system is a slightly better way to pursue this.

this usually comes with a caveat that they can deny you service. I dont have to serve your child alcohol just because the parents say it's okay.

Just like we shouldnt cut off kids dicks and breasts because their virtue signaling parents say its okay.

It’s not that nuanced.

Ban medical transitioning of gender dysphoric children in Ohio. Doctors don’t affirm, surgically or otherwise, any other dysphoric conditions and call it “healthcare”.

Ban biological males from competing in girls sports or eliminate gender specific sports altogether.

When "medicine" says boys and girls are interchangeable, it's the job of the governor to recognize that and not let that damage the people. Dewine is an idiot. Also, these issues should be in separate bills.
