Watching this guy over last couple years…sleeper on defensive line and feel like he’ll be a great force with more focus on technique - he uses his physical abilities to dominate in HS.

I hope so. I really want McKinley in this class. We need a lot more young DTs. The only DTs I remember us signing out of HS have been:
Tygee Hill 2022 - 3 star
Fitzgerald West 2022 - 3 star

None in 2023

And so far in 2024 we have Johnson and maybe Breaux but I think he’ll end up at DE

Exactly re: offer list. The only “rating” that matters is tackles, sacks and pressures. This young fella and PJ Woodland will be known names for the Tigers despite so called ratings.

It's the 3rd hardest position to rate so there's always going to be sleepers and busts at the posistion

Is he a DT? I thought he was listed as a DE.

He’s a DT / NT…just manhandles opposing OL.

He'll have to change his body a bit when he gets to college but he can easily become a rotational guy or possibly a starter depending on how he develops and who's coaching him.

Watched his HUDL videos. Not very fleet of foot and needs a good bit of work in getting his pad level lower and maintaining balance. However, very powerful and explosive at getting off blocks and manhandling the ball carrier. See a lot of upside, especially at nose.

Good synopsis; he’s not agile like Wingo re: lateral/first step quickness but makes up for it with power and great grip strength. Definitely will see field quicker at NT/short yardage packages.
