We have large group BC/BS of Texas Health Insurance, they have a health/fitness app named Livongo.
They send you a digital scale and blood pressure cuff device to measure daily.
I check mine every morning 123/72 today
90 day average 128/78
I need to get my bottom number down some

Per my doc, you really don't need to worry unless you're 140/90, and it isn't an outlier.

Mine runs 110-117 for systolic and 72-84 for the diastolic. I’m 58, but the kicker is I only have one kidney due to cancer almost three years ago. BP tends to run higher for people like me, but my doctors are pleased with my numbers.

I’ve had 120/80 one day and 145/90 the next. Your mood and stress levels play a huge role.
If you are constantly sitting around 150/90 you got issues tho

I had the most stable BP of anybody; right at normal until early 2022. went from normal to 150/95 in about 3 months. been on low dose BP meds that get it down to 110/70-ish. age:upper 50's weird.
but even weirder: wife is 54 and has incredibly low BP. people have trouble even taking it, it's so low.(high for her is 90/60) but her father had really high BP.
Even weirder-er: I went from your wife’s range to yours over the course of the last year and a half. Just like that.
Early to mid-40s
BMI of 17.8
Exercise regularly
Don’t smoke, light drinker, no illicit substances
Diet is generally pretty clean
On no other prescriptions at the time
Kidneys seem fine, but I’m a poor responder to BP meds so far
Kept a log for a month and did repeat BP readings at doctor’s office. Doc was shocked when subsequent readings were significantly higher after I’d been chilling in a chair with my feet flat on the floor for half an hour in between.
So far I guess I’m a medical mystery. Literally my only risk factor at this point is family history, and it’s the one thing I can’t control.

Just got one of these from Amazon. Take it every morning after I've been up for 30 mins or so. Most mornings it's below 120, but have seen it in the 130's.
My monitor just arrived today. Going to start taking it 2x a day and recording on that sheet someone posted. 121/79 this afternoon.

Mine used to run 90-100/ 50-60 but has crept up to the normal range(115/65) over the past 3 years. My pulse has ticked up from 40-50 to around 50-60 in that same time frame. Doctor doesn't seem concerned but it's higher than it's been the last 25 years.

118/75, 67 bpm pulse.
43 yo, 5’11 176
I have a family history of high blood pressure and heart disease so I’m trying my best to work on diet, exercise and stress. Work stress is the hardest thing to control.

How do you guess that’s ok? That’s an excellent blood pressure reading.

Is this where they change the “normal range” based on people being fat and unhealthy now?

Untreated HBP leads to an enlarged heart which can also affect your aortic valve. Treat now before it is too late and the damage is done. Open heart surgery is not fun.

Joking.
I’ve been working to keep it down over the years.

My BP is always higher when they take it initially at dr office. Something about being alone in a room with a female nurse makes me nervous. Then the dr takes it himself and its fine. ??

Does the hotness of the nurse make a difference in the reading?
