Wow! Would love to know the story behind this. Every school in the country is on the phone right now. He's from LA too. Wonder if a deals already been made. OSU? FSU?
The kid has never played. No big-time program is going to hand him the starting job. And if he's transferring, he wants to start.

Same with Rattler. The locals are going to freak out over this.

Or he wants more money. He would be the favorite as soon as he stepped on campus at OSU or FSU. Would not at USC if Howard is coming. Anyway, I was just using those schools as examples, who knows.

This either means Lincoln is leaving or Caleb coming back??

Left it humming or left it in shambles?

He’s an average QB who played at a factory. Completely overrated and he got exposed at USC.

Malachi Nelson? The high school he played for isn’t a power house. Most people wondered why he wasn’t at Mater Dei or Bosco

Wow he literally followed Riley to SC after having been committed to OU prior to Riley leaving

quote:Riley played Williams as a true freshman because he didn't have a choice. Trust me, if Williams played as bad as Spencer did for a couple of games, Nelson would have gotten in this year too. Plus, this goes along with Riley and his propensity to play transfers. I mean how many first year QBs show you immediately that they are ready? Riley wants a guy who has already been through it. Unless you're looking like a #1 overall draft pick immediately, he'll recruit over you. If kids haven't figured that out, I feel sorry for em.
Unless he thinks his freshman is not close to being ready. Riley played Caleb Williams as a true freshman at OU.

quote:This right here. He puts his QBs into a great system and let's their talent do the work. I'm not saying he doesn't do some work, as he definitely develops their passing, but it's not to some elite "QB guru", extent.
I agree. A supposed offensive genius should be able to develop young talent rather than relying on transfers every year. I wouldn’t even say he developed Caleb he was just insanely talented. Same with Kyler Murray

Similar talent to Jayden Daniels coming out of high school.
For such a special player you guys seem to think there's a lot of him out there. No, they won't be pursuing him.

The last blue chip HS recruit that played QB at a pac 12 school worked out well for LSU.
By last do you mean the only?

Hence why I said “coming out of highschool” obliviously he doesn’t match up with Heisman season JD5 and he will never have the electric feet JD5 has, but he was the number 1 QB in his class for a reason

Obviously not what Riley thought he was or he wouldn’t be leaving
Or else he is a guy who is demanding more money.

I don’t see us bringing someone in who wants to start.

LSU has contacted AJ Swann, Taylen Green and CJ Morris. They haven't pushed for Dante Moore, Will Howard or Cam Ward.
That's pretty telling. Yes they want a QB that can compete and possibly start, but they aren't shopping top shelf.

quote:That's a little misleading. LSU is actively shopping for a QB. LSU has contacted all six players. LSU isn't pushing for Moore, Howard, or Ward because they want more than LSU is willing to promise/offer.

quote:Except they are shopping top shelf. LSU has contacted all of the top shelf portal QBs. LSU is just not willing to promise a starting position, majority of the reps, or what they consider to be excessive NIL. LSU has to save up for Underwood.

For the top shelf QBs, LSU's negotiations end pretty quickly because those QBs can go to other schools and get a promise for a starting position, majority of the reps, or more NIL than LSU is willing to offer.

Let me guess you know a guy. Sauces. Ignore the people who are actual insiders.
