Similar talent to Jayden Daniels coming out of high school. Wonder if LSU goes after him

Exactly why portal can be dangerous
USC recruiting over him and bringing in transfer
Players don’t like that

Obviously not what Riley thought he was or he wouldn’t be leaving

The last blue chip HS recruit that played QB at a pac 12 school worked out well for LSU.

Lincoln lives on transfer QBs it seems like. Choosing Will Howard over his 5 Star freshman is wild

Daniels was a 3 year starter before lsu. He came in senior year not after sitting his freshman year like this guy would be.

Unless he thinks his freshman is not close to being ready. Riley played Caleb Williams as a true freshman at OU.

BK has invested two years in Nuss. I don’t see us bringing someone in who wants to start. We need a solid #2. Collins needs more time in the program.

This is definitely it. Make or break year for LR

This should be a no brainer. Kid is super talented and would be a star in a year or two with Sloan and Dembrock.

It wouldn’t be choosing this dude over Nuss… this would be choosing Nelson over Underwood or if you don’t think you can get Underwood.

Ehh seems like he panicked to me. USC is going to be bad next year either way. Will Howard isn’t Caleb Williams. You’d think such a great offensive mind would want to develop his young talent

His one thing is that he supposedly develops QBs. Other than Williams, he hasn't even done that. What does Lincoln Riley do well? He took an Oklahoma program that was humming, maintained it. Left to go to USC, hasn't done anything, and the OU program that he left in shambles went right back to where it was. OU is a better team than USC is. How long until Riley is put on the Used coach market?

Also, if Nelson wants to come to BR, it's worth kicking the tires. The way LSU has opened the season the last few years, you take every advantage against USC you can.

That’s the thing if they are confident in Underwood they probably won’t risk it. Hard to pass on a talent like Nelson though if he’s interested

I agree. A supposed offensive genius should be able to develop young talent rather than relying on transfers every year. I wouldn’t even say he developed Caleb he was just insanely talented. Same with Kyler Murray

Exactly. Caleb was very talented, but he didn't get better. Lincoln can run an offense, but that'll never win him a title.
