Why 50 wins? Feels like a random number when a season was 14/16 games for several decades and is now 17 games.

With that said, having it at 50+ also temporarily keeps out coaches like Staley, Saleh, ASmith & Sorinni at 47, O’Connel, Eberflus, Daboll & McDaniel at 30

He’ll stay ahead of Eberflus (currently at .267) if he makes it to 50, an Saleh (.340) will get dangerously close; but holy shite that’s impressively bad.

I rather look at it like this:

As far as DA goes, we are actually in the midst of his most successful coaching season ever. He has never been this close to .500 this far into a season before.

I beg to differ. DA is the worst Head Coach I have ever seen on the sideline.

Yup only had to play perhaps one of the easiest schedules in nfl history. Easiest schedule in saints history at the least.

I knew he was a bad hire but didnt think he would be this bad.

Proximo would still frick him, so he’s got that going for him at least

The roster isn't as good as it was say 5 years ago, and some of it is because of DA, but I'd imagine alot of those coaches were working with less of a roster than DA has had with the Saints.
