Let’s discuss shite that guests do at your home that just grind your gears.
I’ll start with over packing the kitchen trash, pushing it down until the bag is ready to tear and leaving lights/fans/tvs on when leaving the house.

I could choose to wad up my panties over every single thing my family/in-laws do while staying with me. I really could.
But instead I enjoy and bask in their presence and the warmth it fills my home, for they will be gone soon enough, not just from this house but from this earth. And it will all be too soon.
Choose joy and love. Or choose whatever you’re doing. I’m sure you have some awesome Netflix shows to watch. Either way, I hope you have a merry Christmas.

Little tip for the trash bags, I buy the 30 gallon bags for the 13 gallon can and I never have issues with it ripping or being overfilled.

You think you've got it bad, but think of your poor family who has to be around someone as petty as you.

Weirdly or not, I’ve never experienced that on either end.

I used to get pissed when my MIL would show up and immediately start cleaning. I don’t know what my problem was; I love it now. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Family is more important than you being annoyed the lights being left on for a couple hours. Enjoy it while you can.

Sister in law washing her undies in the sink and hanging them on the towel rack to dry.

Everyone on my side and my wife’s side lives within a 20 mile radius, so we don’t have to deal with this shite.

I generally prefer to have everyone over to my house but I do get slightly ticked when everyone tries to "visit" in our small galley kitchen while we are finishing the cooking.

Not getting up and getting out on Sunday. 8:00am on Sunday, the visits over. Don’t linger around. Get on the road!

At least yours puts it in the can. My wife’s side of the family can’t even do that. Hate this time of year.

It got old hosting every year.
We downsized so we really don't have the room now.
No one has stepped up to have it. Sad.

What? Are you from the stone ages? So it costs you a few cents. Just make a run around the house and turn them off.
