We've had 2 Heisman winning QB's in the last 5 years. Let's all just take a minute

I remember thinking I may never see one in my lifetime.

3 of 88 total is kind of wild.

QBU and WRU, I think CBU has fallen off because we have not cleaned House.

I just bet my two kids college fund on Nussmeier to win the heisman next year because of this post

Herbstreit spoke for us all, multiple times, duing the Texas game in 2019 when he kept mentioning how unaccustomed he was to seeing LSU's explosive & efficient passing offense and not grinding out the game on the ground in the 4th quarter with the lead. LSU did a 180 degree turn in 2019.

If someone was in a coma for a decade, and woke up saw LSU had 2 Heisman winners, the best NFL WRs, and a piss-poor defense, they might have an aneurysm.

I agree. How awesome is it!

Went through the dark times of the 90’s then we started the golden era in 01 and all those years we were great, it sucked to see these other flashy programs take home the heisman thinking we’ll never get one. Then honey badger got the invite and that felt great (kind of like the 01’seccg, here we come). And now today we’re debating which one of our heisman winners deserve to be on our Mount Rushmore…. What a time to be an LSU fan!!!

I was at Lambeau in 2016. After watching B. Harris play I just wanted a QB that could complete a 10 yard drag route. It’s all gravy now.

It is about as close to how I felt when we won the ship back in 2003 after all those years of sucking. Feels validating as hell.

I remember thinking we are never going to get great QBs as I watched Jordan Jefferson run another poorly done option play and we had to punt yet again... and as Bama and other teams would stack 8 on the line.

Man has times changed.

From 2009-2017 (outside of Jett’s year) I would have given a lot to have a qb that could throw for 250 and 2 tds a game.

Pretty awesome to watch those two rip through defenses especially after the grond and pound of the Miles era!

It all started with the completion of the east side upper deck, it was the missing link for success .

Especially coming after the Les Miles era, it's a culture shock of the good kind.
